Is Rust worth getting, /v/? How much will it improve before leaving early access? Does playing with friends make it better?
It will never be worth it because it has the biggest flaw a game could have: humans
When given the opportunity to act like cancer, they will act like cancer.
You'll spend 2 hours getting sniped from half the world away and ragequitting
It's fun if you play it hardcore. Nothing much to do if you're casually playing it. Takes around an hour to build a house that will most likely get its shit fucked while you're offline or even while you're building it.
So if you want quick fun, no. Don't get it.
You've come into possession of a pre-used monkey's paw from a friend. He tells you that it can make one video game related wish, but that wish will come back to haunt you and your community in un-seen ways. Do you dare make a wish to it?
Yo how the fuck do I kill deze niggas
Hey headphone users!
Your sincerely, From Software.
>The area with the mimic
>See a white phantom get manhandled by one
Great atmosphere, that place.
Who else doesn't buy into the hype?
Maybe i'm jaded but i'm expecting an avarage videogame at best.
If that e1m8 impressed you, you haven't even fucking played doom. The community makes levels a thousand times more impressive than whatever that hack romero could do. Also designing a level and making a new game are two different things.
ITT: Games that are long forgotten and could use a re-release
kaiser was making powerslave ex but nightdive got the rights so its gonna be an official re-release at some point i guess. same deal as turok
though you might still be able to find a copy of it somewhere if you look hard enough
I don't get why nobody's tried to remake it
Shiiiiiieeeet, looking forward to it. I've burning through all of my favorite retro shooters this week out of nostalgia but couldn't get Powerslave to properly work on DOSBox or any fucking tweaking.
Abyss Watchers are LITERALLY a tribute to Bloodborne.
This wasn't a regular enemy fight. We were fighting a hunter, exceptional one you need to agree.
No other TOH hunter was that agile and aggressive as these motherfuckers, I bet they were originally part of Bloodborne plot but were ditched in the end.
Proove me wrong.
>oh wow company x made tribute to their last game in their latest
Watchers sucked ass
I just beat demon king - best fight so far, but when the fuck does it get hard? The roll is too forgiving
I give up. Fucking a
So you downloaded a rom just to shitpost? Gotta admit, even if it's the earliest point you could die in by trying, I'm impressed.
This series is too good to give up on, just because you're not that great at action games. At least do it for the music, characters, story, and, maybe when you get a bit more comfortable with it, the gameplay, too.
So now that everyone has played Dark souls 3, let's do this poll.
All souls games are shit. They're just a copy and paste of the first with some extra mixins that dont work
Why do we have to keep having these threads?
>I Rate bloodborne as the best game in the series.
Why haven't you pre-ordered my game yet, anon?
I'm still mad
Hey /v/, I could use some help. I'm a poorfag who can't buy any games on steam; what good free games are there?
I already have TF2 and Dota 2 downloaded.
I've done it to the point where the cuckolds at Comcast have threatened to shut off my internet if I kept doing it, and I'm not in an area where I can get Verizon. So no pirating
gonna be starting as a warrior in a bit. what stats are the most important?
Who will you main, /v/?
"Maining" in Overwatch is retarded as the game demands that you be able to rotate heroes to answer issues as they arise. Having a pool of 6 or so champs to rotate is acceptable but rigidly playing one character all of the time is stupid and detrimental to your team. The game encourages you to do otherwise.
Roadhog because chain and hooking players about to ult is so satisfying
But widow is the supreme waifu
What went wrong?
