Just finished playing this and honestly, it wasn't nearly as bad as /v/ makes it out to be.
It was actually a pretty decent game. Granted, it is a terrible sequel to the original and even HR far surpasses it, but for what it was I really enjoyed it from start to finish.
Overall, a solid 7/10. Discuss.
It's more that it was such a step down from the original than the actual quality that people remember.
If it were just Invisible War and not attached to the Deus Ex name, it might have said "Game of the Year" instead of "sequel to the game of the year".
Yeah, the consolization really shows. But I went in with very low expectations, so I was highly unlikely to be disspointed.
And hey, even the worst Deus ex is better than 95% of the shit produced today.
There's not much more to say about it than what you said. We could discuss all the ways in which it faltered as a Deus Ex game, and as a game in general, as there are many. We could also discuss how it stands out as a pretty unique experience, despite being the weakest in the series. But in total, it was a fairly solid game that doesn't deserve to be treated as harshly as it has been.
>PHOENIX WRIGHT IS A CRIMINAL
What did he mean by this?
Except the stuff he does in the universe the game takes place in is obviously legal
What the fuck is the point of this video
What went wrong?
Not limiting the venue to runners + [x] guests, which caused them to expand to massive venues, which killed the atmosphere.
That and money + sponsors causing them to lock down any and all fun.
How are those wave-shines coming along, anon?
I play the one and only lord of darkness, Ganondorf.
>yfw the GOAT commentator is doing top 8 at EVO!

Steve Jobs saves gaming yet again.
You guys were right all along. This game is a piece of shit.
Will Daud be in Dishonored 2? It would be nice if he appeared again and became allies with Corvo and Emily.
Post vidya girls (male)
Mai Shiranui is coming to DoA5.
Do you like it when vidya have characters from other games in them?
What are your favorite examples of this?
Bumping with some crossovers I remember.
Cloud from FF7 in FFT.
Why did they make the most interesting and fun character just leave and never come back ?
Let's say that hypothetically, Inafune and his staff were to take on board all the criticism of MN9, and for the sequel, actually address the criticisms of the first one, go through the route of a traditional publisher (So no franchising deals and 11 versions to sap away at the budget), and actually end up being good, say roughly at the levels of the better Mega Man games. How would you feel?
Comcept are literally just middlemen. They subcontract development studios and then match them with publishers and take a cut of the profit without any real work on their end.
Inti Creates are the people who developed the game and Deep Silver published it.
