So, who in here is unironically getting doom4?
I'm getting it on PC, I've been dying to play a gorey shooter where u kill space demons in this generation
>>335744076
ill pirate it and buy it if i like it
>>335744327
Pretty much this, but I'm on the fence about buying it even if I DO like it. What replayability will it have, and will it have full mod support?
>>335744327
>I'll pirate it and buy it if I like it
They all say that.
>this boring fuck comes back as dlc
>no q
>no dudley
>no sf1 or ex characters
>capcucks pretend to be hyped just because he was revealed on an eceleb circlejerk stream
is there a fanbase sadder than sfshitters?
In the microcosm of SF players, yes, there is a character with a shitty fanbase.and I'm unfortunately part of it.

fuck off waifushitter and take karin and mika with you
filename thread
MODs keep pruning all the good threads. There is only so much you can talk about videogames. I think /vg/ is the place to go if you want to talk about videogames 24/7 while /v/ should have a mix of both off-topic and videogame related threads. Thematically people will still post with videogames in mind so I don't get why we can't just do what we want.

Is Final Fantasy 14 the best MMO to get into right now? I am desperate to play a multiplayer game on PC with friends.
If you are going to say "all MMOs are shit", please offer a better alternative multiplayer game for me to play.
I loved it until they locked my account from me by reseting my authenticator, and forcing me to call customer support during hours I'm not available for.
Then I lost all motivation to play. How do you duck up and authenticator like that?
>>335743654
Yes, it is.

When was the last time you bought a usedPC_game?
>>335743628
few years back: baldurs gate 2 collection (game + expansion + bonus disc)
>>335743628
I don't know.
More than 10 years ago for sure.
A few months, was at Goodwill and found a boxed copy of Majesty which hadn't been opened yet, so I bought it for my friend since he loves that game.
Also found a copy of Rogue Spear so I picked that up too for myself.

Is Nintendo right? Will Metroid Federation force save the plummeting 3ds sales?
Seems like when Nintendo consoles die they die QUICK. Will this be the saviour in these dark times?
Tanabe is an ignorant and arrogant mad man who thinks he can be a miracle worker
Was the Metroid Prime Federation Force director in anyway associated with the guy who ruined Project Hammer?
Sales will be mediocre. It won't re-engergize a god damn thing.
>Interactive movies and "walking simulators" aren't inherently bad concepts.
Bernie Sanders will be a good president
Virtue's Last Reward is fucking trash and only proved all Uchikoshi can do is rehash Ever 17 over and over.

How much would it cost to fund a small online game?
How hard do you think it would be to find developers to work on the project?
Ever since I played Runescape and Wow back in like 2006/7, I've always wanted to make an mmorpg. I'm about to enter medical school, so I'll have a good amount of money to spend once I'm a doctor. Also I should probably mention that I'm not planning on doing anything but leading the project with groundwork ideas and quests. How much should I plan on spending to get this off the ground?
Just Google Rust and how much it costs to keep the servers up

I have no idea, but bumping out of interest
I've had thoughts about what would make for good rpgs
Problem is I have trouble bringing them down to earth, they'd all cost tens of millions
I have other, cheaper game idea should I ever desire such a thing
Well, RS was originally hosted in one of the Gower brother's attic. So it depends on your scope. Making an MMO is not as easy as you think it is. It's far easier to make a singleplayer RPG that benefits highly from being played with other people, a la Baldur's Gate.

Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
/v/, would you prefer a semi-linear Vampire game with hubs like Bloodlines (or perhaps Human Revolution as a more recent example), or an open world game with more freedom like New Vegas and all the "open world" elements that comes with it, day/night cycle, evading the sun during daytime, etc.
