Before I buy Fates, is there a girl more attractive than Nowi?
So, I was wondering why the last two SFV updates have been like 5.5 GB each. I decided to take a look at SFV's total filesize and its 7735MB total, which I imagine is what a 5.5GB download would be when its finished decompressing.
Is capcom making us redownload the entire game every month instead of just releasing patches?
Either way, these fucking update sizes suck ass for someone like me that has a data cap.
I only get 100GB a month and I need to waste 5-6GB on a new character and stage.
Most of my steam games aren't even 5GB in total, so it feels like a massive waste
Its more an issue with unreal engine cant just patch parts of files need to redownload the whole thing so even if they only add 800MB or something its still altering 5gb's of files which need to be totally replaced.
This is weeb pacman
Gomenasai, my name is Ken-Sama.
I’m a 27 year old American Otaku (Anime fan for you gaijins). I draw Anime and Manga on my tablet, and spend my days perfecting my art and playing superior Japanese games. (Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Persona series)
I train with my Katana every day, this superior weapon can cut clean through steel because it is folded over a thousand times, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I earned my sword license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.
I speak Japanese fluently, both Kanji and the Osaka dialect, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about Japanese history and their bushido code, which I follow 100%
When I get my Japanese visa, I am moving to Tokyo to attend a prestigious High School to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become an animator for Studio Ghibli or a game designer!
I own several kimonos, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Japan, so I can fit in easier. I bow to my elders and seniors and speak Japanese as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.
Wish me luck in Japan!
Which one do I play now, /v/?
ITT: Things in vidya that freaked you out as a kid
Hard mode: No horror games
Pic related really freaked me out, his voice and laugh especially, his brain form didn't help either
For whatever reason when playing Pokemon Sapphire as a kid I was really freaked out by the whole "Kyogre flooding the world" thing, especially since I never fought any legendaries in RBY or GSC and thought it would actually be some crazy battle against a all-powerful opponent, and the characters were making such a big deal about it I thought there would be lasting repercussions in the game if I lost. I was so freaked out I deleted my save file and started a new game.
When I played Majora's Mask for the first time and got to the Dinofols in the Woodfall Temple I immediately shut off my game. This was back when vidya bosses actually scared me. I couldn't just stop, so I stocked up on every consumable item I can get. I didn't even need them. It was so easy that it kicked my fear for good.
So, after finishing both BB and DaSIII and waiting for them to set in, am I the only one who thinks Bloodborne is a superior game on almost every merit? Maybe it's a purely aesthetic thing, but BB hit me harder in almost every aspect, save for PvP (I freely admit the aspect for PvP is pretty shit). Even so, Yharnam seems much more focused than Lothric, and the level design, if not the world design, is leagues better than Dark Souls II and III, though I won't go so far to say it's as good as I.
And the DLC.
Fucking Christ, the DLC.
I don't think...

Bloodborne is basically as close as they got to a perfect game. It's perfectly well rounded and every bit of it helps build something much greater than the sum of its parts. I don't want them to ever do a sequel or build another DLC cuz it's just right the way it is.
BB > DeS = DaS > DaSIII > Scholar > DaSII
Looking forward to what From brings us next and I hope to god it's on PC.
How is it? I haven't been keeping up with it at all but I absolutely loved all the other games.
Don't have a PS4 to play the new game but I just saw the movie, I liked it but if you're expecting anything beyond something aimed for children you're gonna be disappointed. There were some nice easter eggs, one of them being a computer making the PS1 startup noise, the voice acting was nice, it was an alright flick.
What went right?
I personally liked the ocean
Nailed it, OP. The ocean is literally the only redeemable feature of that heap of trash. The water graphics were stellar even on last-gen and exploring under the sea was superb.
Online mode went right. There are some blatant issues such as load times, servers sometimes crapping out, the kuruma, and the homing launcher. Overall, however, it's great. Everyone who bitches about shit being too expensive is just a loner-fag. I had 1.3 million on tuesday, and decided to get the middle yacht because it was 5.6 million until today. Made it by playing about 2-3 hours for the last couple days. No heists. VIP work is the best thing they've added to Online.
Things that I felt were personally better than IV were obviously the graphics and actually having an ocean. But the first person mode was also pretty fucking incredible and they went all out with ironsights and everything, it was really the only thing that kept me on 5 for so long.
>feeling a little down in the dumps
>decide to go to the arcade to get my spirits up
>take one step inside
>immediately uplifted and ready to play some games
What video games make you happy no matter what's going on?
Where did he go? He doesn't even show up to E3 anymore.
he rapidly aged from stress and can no longer be shown
will likely die soon
Crash confirmed for E3.
This is an Uncharted 4 easter egg.
Don Mattrick couldn't sell heroin in Baltimore.
Seriously, if Phil Spencer was in charge the whole time, MS could have gotten away with the weaker GPU, Always online and forced Kinect.
To answer the question, hype wasn't on MS's side. Despite having a far better exclusive line up from launch until even now than PS4. The marketing for the Xbone was so fucking terrible that it's no wonder so many people fell for Sony's lies.
