I only played the first one 7/10.
Hey /v/, I'm currently playing Viewtiful Joe on the gamecube, on Adults mode. I'm on the last level, and I've got about 90,000 v-points collected. since I'm planning on starting anew game on V-Rated after i'm done with my current save, I know you can start a new game with all the moves and hearts I have until now, but do the v-points tranfer as well or do i have to use them up?
general viewtiful Joe thread i guess
What's the best Armored Core game to start out with? I have a backwards compatible PS3.
The PS2 entries are probably best.
On the PS2, there are 3 subseries.
2 > Another Age
3 > Silent Line
Nexus > Nine Breaker > Last Raven
Silent Line is perhaps the best, but you'd better play 3 first.
Dual analog controls are only introduced with Nexus, which happens to be one of the easiest entries. Last Raven conversely is the hardest. So you could start with Nexus, but it might be hard to adjust to the old control scheme.
These PS2 games got PSP ports, tweaked and slightly worse but still a must-own if you become a fan of the series and own a Vita. Only play on a PSP if you're confident clawing.
AC3 portable > Silent Line portable > Last Raven portable.
The cool thing is that each of these subseries has save importing, so it's better to play the subseries in order.
Starting off with the 3rd generation is probably a safe bet, the question is whether you wanna start with 3 or with Nexus. 3 sets you up to play the 3rd gen from release order which is cool but the controls are much more modern in Nexus thanks to the use of dual sticks. Can't go wrong with either I'd say. 4th gen is also a good start point but feels the most different from the rest of the series.
Who is the most gorgeous vydia game character?
>tfw people pay full price for every expansion
>tfw people pay EVERY month for this game still
I tried it out and it's actually not a bad leveling experience (WoD) but once you get the endgame you realize there's two raids, butchered professions and a Facebook-tier interface for garrisons and just stop playing.
Why is the game a race for endgame now? Where's the social aspect? The economic aspect?
So how are all of you enjoying base building in planetside 2?
Personally it's reinvigorated the game for me snd stirred up a bland meta into something extremely fun. If you were ever thinking about jumping in for the first time or returning like I did, now is the time to do it.
What is /v/ thoughts on jontron
I'm replaying Borderlands 2, and I'm honestly having a blast. I didn't want to replay it at first because of how shit the pre-sequel was, but I can't remember why this game got so much hate on here.
Even the character I originally hated, Tiny Tina, kind of grew on me when I started doing sidequests and collecting the ECHO logs. Yeah, half her dialogue is still kind of shitty, but the other half is
funand kind of cute.
I'm really liking Maya, Phaselock and her "less focused" skill trees mean I can pick up pretty much any...

bumping the thread with the best borderlands character in the franchise
I didn't like Tales, Gortys just felt like she didn't fit into the BL universe at all. Wouldn't bother me if she was a minor character, but since she's such a big plot point she was kind of annoying.
Pandora is a completely crapsack world, but here's this cutesy insecure AI with design right out of Wall-E!
As if the Atlas
RIP in piss Atlas gunscorporation would make something like that, it didn't fit with their theme at all.
