Quick question for any Yakuza fans
Finally got around to buying a ps3, already ordered Yakuza 3 and 4 on amazon but they won't be arriving for 2 weeks
A friend of mine has Dead Souls and my question is can I play this game without having played 3 and 4? I know it's a non-canon spinoff but still, will I understand what's going on (like whos the guy on the left) and more importantly will I get spoiled?
Yeah I know that, I've seen my friend play it and was less than impressed
Still I need something to pass the time til 3 and 4 arrive
Already beat PxZ2 twice and I need my daily fix of Kiryu
>in a mansion filled with zombies
>your partner give you ammo that really good against living things
Reminder that Namco Bandai has confirmed in a recent stream that certain edits will be made to the upcoming God Eater games to keep an age rating they want. We likely won't see any major character like Alisa having her costume changed due to how iconic it is and how people would immediately recognize the changes but probably we'll get some of our costume choices edited. What does /v/ think of that?
I think that America is to blame and video games shouldn't have to conform to a board of uptight people.
Developers learned to develop to make the games they want to make. Not be whinged at.
What is the most important part of a game to you guys?

Poison kirby best kirby.
Fresh thread. So what happened in the last thread? I dipped out of it at about 6:00 yesterday. Did I miss any new lore uncoverings/did the lore-timeline anon get anything else done on the lore web?
Requested by anon in previous thread:
The invader armor I created is possessing a much greater energy. This creature with infinite power is a menace. What... is the probability I can... eliminate this menace?
Can some anon check what the pause screen says in the tengen toppa section in story mode?
Chie is objectively the best girl of Persona 4.

Name 1 game that will get you more depressed than playing pic related.
I want to tenderly cuddle with Laphicet.
What's the biggest video game lie that you fell for?
What headphones do you use for gaming?
what are some games were you have to defeat satan
Speculate, but please
keep shitposting to a minimum
Stuff we already know:
>Zelda at launch
>Pikmin 4 (near guaranteed)
>Animal crossing (mobile app is supposed to compliment something)
So, what do you think?
Flop or success?
Will you get it? Why or why not?
It will sell more than it should. Nintendo won't go under any time soon but they deserve to. I won't be getting it, mostly on principle. Zelda delayed far too long and only to launch a new console at that.
What to you are some game faux pas?
For me it's summoning/co-oping Soulsborne on your first run. The games excel in atmosphere and satisfaction from overcoming the challenges, which is totally lost if you're just going to cheese it on co-op.
Is it shit?
If yes, name a better similiar game.
