Why is /v/ your place to go for videogames?
For me it is because the threshold is such that for a real good game to be on the market it would have to be talked about with positiveness and eagerness on here otherwise it is fodder.
Why do japanese developers love Phil Spencer so much?
In retrospect, this was a pretty fun game. The face and motion cap and the pretty good story combined made for a pretty awesome experience. I mean, yea there's hardly any replayability and it's linear as hell but it was like a really awesome callback to some good horror movies of the past.
Actually, if we were going to classify this game as a movie, this was probably the best horror movie in the last decade or so.
ITT: Inexcusable and undefendable decisions by game companies.
Between this and Federation Force I've come to accept never getting another F-Zero because I'd be afraid of what they'd do to it.
>mfw my friends are defending it and hushing me up when I try to voice my opinion on it
>that boss you forgot exists and comes to fuck your shit up every playthrough
>finally beat this guy
>quit playing the game because of how awful the AI is in this game.
It really hurts, I wanted to enjoy the game, I still kinda do but the fucking AI, WHY?, maybe I'll go back and force my way through it, sure as hell hope the sequel fixes it because the game is great and I always felt that it was like a pokemon game that was actually modern and updated instead of the rehash shit we get every year.
Beta update supposedly fixes major glitches and crashes in multiplayer.
How to get into the beta:
1. Right click on Risk of Rain in the steam library
2.Click on Properties
3.Go to the Betas tab
4.type in "‘riskofraintest"
5.opt in to the beta from the slider above
6.Wait forever for a host
You look hungry to me, Anon.
I'll tell you what - have a Bread Roll on me.
Why do no MMOs these days have random events like Runescape did?
>old man appears and sticks me in his retarded maze
>all I get from completing it is an uncut sapphire
>Paper Mario:Sticker Star 2
>Zelda (Also on NX)
How are you hanging bros?
I've learned my lesson about buying Nintendo systems at launch
Even the 3DS which I fucking love, had a miserable launch (even Walmart allowed you to get them at their discounted price before the Ambassador Program ended, so getting it Day 1 was absolutely pointless). If the NX turns out to be the second coming of Christ, I'll be happy for Ninty, but still hold out until the following holiday season.
It's App Store confirmed!
Despite what /v/ parrots, videogames have been considered an artistic medium for a while.
Not saying all videogames are art, because it's just stupid as implying all movies are art, but many of them have some sort of artistic value. There are videogame museum and videogame art expositions all around the world. Many books have been written about videogames and their design values.
Inb4 mods delete this thread but not the DSP or console war ones.
What's a game where I can cook and craft drugs?
I made a drug addict/chemist on Fallout 4 but there's only so much you can do in a bastardized RPG.
this is actually something that would make me happy too.
I had hoped you could cook meth in GTA V but i was unfortunatly dissapointed.
But i also probably know there will never be a game where you can do this knowing that people are already freaking out about muh violence in videogames
I used to play this text game where you go around buying drugs and flipping them for profit, as well as taking out rival dealers/thugs while dodging the police. It was only text based though, I forget the name of it.
Wanna know why critics are so angry? Because it attracts far more viewers. Le angry yelling man has been an easy gimmick since AVGN popularized it.
Sterling also understands that people like drama and controversies. He feeds off of that for viewers by making sure his videos/articles have some sort of controversy to them. Some sort of opinion that he likes to claim as fact to stir up readers and create a buzz.
It pisses me off really. And hell Totalbiscuit of all people called out this type of journalism...

What game lets me be a detective that solves murders and shit
Post good detective anime
I need to rot away my free time until Stellaris comes out
Mei is made for ________________.
Just got this, haven't touched it yet, nor played any games from the series previously.
Any tips, hints or specific builds that would be good that could help me out?
General discussion otherwise
Quality build as Knight is a very good option for people to learn and experiment. Basically means you get your STR and DEX to 40 and the rest of the stats, depending on what you want out of your build, are personal preference but for your first go it's probably a good idea to get your vigor to the softcap, 27, and vit and endurance as much as you want. Unless you're doing PvP I would avoid magic of any kind.
