If you don't leave corpse well alone, I swear I'm gonna get mad!
I'm finally getting a PS3 because I haven't played a single console game in the past generation. Name some good games that I must play, no matter the genre.
REAL E3 CRINGE HOURS
Is /v/ into military realism games? In addition to that, ever join any units/communities that have standards of realism set in place?
only if it means I can play as a cute anime girl
Just a couple days till Beta

This is the
bestStar Fox so far
Zero is not a good game.
Sure the dev team listened to the things playtesters were saying. How it doesn't feel like a star fox game and how branching paths are cool and they should be in the game
but they were so lazy with following the feedback.
And there's so little content too for how long they delayed it. Which leads me to believe they were mostly just tightening up the engine and graphics rather than adding more content. Which is no fucking cool. Had they dropped the duel screens maybe they wouldn't have had to struggle for 60 fps...

What does /v/ think of this game?
Hello /v/, I am torn. I would like to play the newer Ace Attorney games but I know they have a connected narrative so I don't want to skip right to 5 or 6 when it comes out. However between other games I'm in the middle of and work and whatnot, I don't know if I can allot the time required to play through them all.
Should I watch playthroughs of the cases on youtube, or stick with them and play through them on my own? How much of the experience is rooted in feeling like you solved the case yourself and how much is just experiencing the story?
Play them yourself, working them out is the fun part. Play this order
Ace Attorney, Justice for All, Trials and Tribulations, Apollo Justice, Dual Destinies, 6. Rest are spinoffs but wait until finishing 3 to even think about then.
so i bought the first dark souls since /v/ always drones on about how good it is. im playing the game but i dont understand alot of the mechanics and i feel like im missing alot of things as i go along. should i play with a guide as i go or do a run through and then go through it again?
You don't need a guide:
>go through undead burg first
>use weaker enemies at the start to practice parries
>never put points into resistance
>watch out for black knight
>plunging attacks work well even on extremely strong foes
>talk to npcs multiple times for extra dialogue
>killing npcs is unadvised
>summons are for casuals
Don't play with a guide, it'll ruin the experience. The mechanics are pretty cryptic, though, so if you have any specific questions about something you don't understand you can ask.
Is this ever coming out on PC? Also, can someone explain the thematic difference between Bloodborne and Dark souls?
Of course it's never coming out on PC you fucking imbecile. Sony paid a considerable amount of money to keep in on the PS4.
Thematically, Bloodborne is quicker and more aggressive than Dark Souls, and rewards trading hits with enemies through its rally system. It also has quicker & more abundant healing along with a lack of shields, meaning your defensive options are less about preventing damage and more about dodging and regaining health.
How in the year 2016 do people STILL not understand IP OWNERSHIP. BLOODBORNE is a SIE video game. It was jointly developed by FROM SOFTWARE and Japan Studio - just like Demons Souls was. In fact if not for the producer at JS we would never have gotten Demon Souls and instead gotten another Kings Field.
Who is your favorite Souls NPC?
DeS and BB are fair game
Which Final Fantasy has the best gameplay?
