What's the best fighting game to play if I want to learn the genre?
I've never played one before. I kinda want Street Fighter V but I'm reluctant to spend so much on something I might hate.
Alright /v/ I'm going to be living on my own in Japan for a year. Which handheld should I get to help me through those lonely nights?
I'm about to play this for the first time
Anything I should know?

Dragon's Dogma was pretty awesome for a console exclusive game originally. The amount of variety I would see in created characters and pawns was neat. It was also cool how your height and weight could effect the game. A taller character can carry more items and has little chance of being picked up by harpies, but a smaller character can fit into small caverns and run faster.

/v/ it's terrible!
That game you've been working on got fucked up before your deadline
the gameplay is fine, but you can only save one of two things:
The graphics or the music
One will be amazing while the other will be shit
Which do you save?

if you dont have people to play it with dont bother

What a beautiful game. I had trouble playing it at first because it bored me, but the character development really flourishes in this game for most characters.
Thank you, I'm glad people are still appreciating this masterpiece in 2016.
Pss, hey kid...

Are you going to get the new idolm@ster game?
