do you believe in the saying
"if everyone is overpowered no one is"?
It reads like it was written by a 14-year-old.
Syndrome pls go
>>344750292
Only if they are "overpowered" in different ways.
If they are all overpowered in one way then some will clearly be better than others.
I felt like this game suddenly became very "cheap" after Mt. Gagazet.
Cutscenes took a bad drop in quality and it seemed like really really bad acting.
Or maybe it was like that from the start and I didn't realize it?
>>344749630
Everything except the graphics felt cheap, anon. Even the music was MIDI shit on a fucking PS2 game.
>>344749779
the soundtrack was great tho, the fuck?
>>344749630
I started playing through the HD version not too long ago, but I can't bring myself to finish it at Mt. Gagazet. I forgot how mind-numbing turn based random battles could get.
I'm going to play this for the first time. Is it as hard as people say?
It's pretty difficult but the fast paced battle system is a lot of fun. Best SMT game. Takes a dump on that le high-school dating sim meme xDDD series
Yeah dude! It's the Dark Souls of RPGs!
ONE MORE G*D REJECTED
Nothing wrong with the TMP.
You get showered with ammo for the damn thing regardless, so you might as well use it.
>>344748871
TMP is easy modo
>>344748871
TMP is shit. I made the mistake of investing all into it, and the thing sucked. Couldn't make it once I reached the castle.
Is there a way to hide programs on your 3DS menu? I'm going on a road trip soon and I don't want my friends to find Senran Kagura Burst.
>>344748867
you can make folders. just like hiding your porn, try put folders in folders. not sure if it works, but worth a try.
First of all, kill yourself normie fag.
Second, you can make folders, so hide it in there.
>>344748867
Put them in a folder and put that folder in the far corner of the home menu.
What difficulty do you play your games on, /v/? Does the hardest difficulty make it more fun or more of a grind.
>>344752235
>>344752235
Medium difficulty for nearly everything except JRPGs, for which I choose the easiest difficulty available.
>>344752235
Medium
Depends on the game
Necropolis is out today. Anyone looking forward to it?

Let's talk about Spunkrat
>Mindless spam: The Character
>Free EZ kills from just spamming onto the objective
>Annoying as fuck traps with more HP than makes sense
>Concussion mine is OP
Lets balance this character.
>Concussion mine hurts the Spunkrat
>mindless spam onto the objective is discouraged by having a maximum travel time on the grenades that auto disarms them.Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

Northernlion.
Dont listen to anyone else in this thread, because they're all shit.
Risky's Revenge was fun if a bit short, but there are a dozen or so desicions that make everything much more frustrating than it needs to be.
How is Pirate's Curse? Is going back to the original GB game worth it?
Pirate's Curse plays best out of all them to date, so go for it.
The original GBC game is pretty damn clunky, but it stll has its charm, I suppose.
>>344748310
Pirate's Curse is generally agreed to be the best out of the three currently out. Abilities are more "traditional" due to story reasons and the level design is split up into segregated islands connected by an area select, which cuts down on backtracking significantly.
GBC is a bit cumbersome at first, but still enjoyable.
The original GB game is good, pretty impressive for a GB game, but it does have some odd design choices. For instance, the overworld seems to have been purposefully made so you can't quickly run areas you've previously been through. Unskippable enemies and segments that require you to transform to get past abound. This is made worse by the fact the game will make you run towards one end of the world and then to the other to progress, also the world doesn't really loop like it says in the manual. Well, technically it does but there's a part you can only get...

I wasn't very fond of Teepo, but I'd take him over that irritating piece of shit in Berseria any day of the week.
Why don't I hear any discussion about Unreal in here?
>GOAT atmosphere, music and level design
>neat little storytelling
>great weapons
>bosses that aren't shit
>enemy AI isn't retarded
the music brah
the music...
So tasty
Because most people don't realize it exists.
I find the game a little hard to look at.
Is there a way to make it more pixelated, like Quake?
Is it worth the effort to learn how to code video games?
Will it land me a job, or is it just toilet paper like a game design degree?
>>344747949
Learning how to code is always a valuable skill. Even if you don't get into the games industry that way, you'll most likely get a decent job, but a CS degree is definitely more valuable than a game design degree.
All academic degrees have value and all skills have value.
I sure as fuck wouldn't want a producer, designer or planner in my studio who didn't have the critical thinking you acquire from a humanities degree.
Coding is coding. Coding video games is a great motivational way of learning coding and well, there is money in being good at it.
>>344749362
>critical thinking you acquire from a humanities degree.
This is bait right? No one actually believes this.
