Paycheck.
/v/. I need you to shut the fuck up and listen for a moment.
All I want you faggots to do is to read this, and then tell me why this wouldn't 100% work out for Nintendo in every single possible way.
>NX is a regular, gimmick free console to replace the Wii U which as we all know bombed hard.
>Combination of these games as a launch lineup and things to be released throughout the year :- Mario, Zelda, Metroid (2d), MONSTER HUNTER, Animal Crossing, Pokemon
You gonna sit there and tell me you wouldn't...

noice. a video game controller that can play vcrs.
>>337795641
Okay
>>337795641
because Nintendo literally can't do anything right anymore. they've become generally incompetent at everything relevant. also remember 'NX' was another Iwata 'blue ocean' shitshow, that they're following through on out of retarded jap honor nonsense. it's going to be wii3, and it will once and for all finally kill their ridiculous notions about selling out to casuals as a viable strategy (and confirm the original Wiis success was a random fad fluke, in part inspired by their...

Hey /v/
This is my hand completely relaxed, I feel as though its more 'clenched' in a relaxed state than it should be and I beleieve playing video games caused it.
I very rarely, but sometimes feel pain in my knuckles and thumbs if I'm gaming for a particularly long time.
Has gaming fucked up my hands or is my relaxed hand state normal?
Try and keep your hands warm. That should soothe the pain.
>>337795693
Thanks anon
>>337795574
Hold your hand palm down instead.
What you see there is your tendons at work.
Is it true that this shit decreases game performance?

top kek

just use OBS, man. I've been using FRAPS for years because I didn't know better, but OBS is just better in every aspect.
So, FEAR. A FPS /v/ seems to love. Then I play it and discover you can only hold 3 guns at a time. For shame, /v/. A practice you criticize is accepted here just due to all the crazy physics and realistic lighting TECHNOLOGY.
Secondly, seeing your own shadow realistically projected dependent on lighting in a game. Whew, I can see why games now don't do this. Maybe it's a technical reason partially but I think it's also partially a design decision catering to normies and their view of what it is like. It's very beautiful that it can be done and makes...

I know this is a stretch, but three is better than two. You only really need a rifle, the shotgun, and dual pistols/cannon in the late game anyway. Also, this game has medkit healing, the best shotgun in FPS, leaning keys, and smarter AI on harder difficulties instead of just sponges. Add all of that to the great physics and lighting, plus the general eerie atmosphere blended with R rated kung fu movie action, it makes for one of the best shooters of the 21st century. The "uncanny, unsettling feeling" you mentioned fits in a horror-lite type setting. Did I mention...

Is there another game where you can kill a guy in slow-mo, grab his shotgun as it leaves his grip, and shoot his buddy right next to him?

hello new friend :^)
>i hate complex games
What's the problem? Too difficult for your small brain?
I dont really care to count stats or learn complex systems when I can just bust my figurative nut playing something simple and intense like Doom then go about my day.
Besides, there are more than enough wads that are particularly challenging, plus I always play on Ultraviolence.
name a "complex" game.
I'm yet to find one, excluding the autistic ones like grand strategy games.
>>337794373
Dwarf Fortress
Why did everyone hate this? Besides shit story it was solid
>>337793979
The game has too much DLC. I can't even keep track of it all. Just make a damn game and put it out and if you want to make sequels fine, but stop with the fucking DLC
The build up was cool, but the end was really bad and ruined the game.
But if there's a sequel, I think they can make good things with it.
>>337793979
Casuals, which /v/ is filled with
>>337794119
It has two story DLCs, that's it

Dont have a backlog and just play the first thing that excites you, thats how you know you actually want to play it and not just "play" it.

please tell me its better story than base game, ciri story was god tier.
>>337793665
It is as long as you're not a waifufag.
Blood and Wine is going to be even better since Regis is back.
>>337793665
It's way better.
The Witcher works way better as isolated short stories rather than a world-saving epic IMO.
>>337793665
Ciri is the cornerstone of the whole book series. DLC is CDPR's original story.
So, where I live this game was released already in the store. Is there anything worth doing without the rest of the community or am I better off waiting until everyone else gets it? Never played it but it looks neat enough and I need a new hobby.
>will post proof of game on shelf tomorrow at 12am
The servers don't actually go back up until next week, so you won't actually be able to play it at all yet.
You can't do anything because the servers are offline until the 24th.
>>337793730
>>337793702
There's no offline?
Did this trigger your nostalgia /v/ ?
>>337793441
It's not even the original Crash, it has bullshit like high score, UI is different and some other subtle differences.
It's basically a remake of a level from Crash rather than port of the original.
Makes me wonder why the fuck did they do that instead of just using the original though.
>>337793441
>video games are so fucking devoid of gameplay that they splice in callbacks to actual video games to remind people what it felt like when they could actually play something on consoles

The physics engine is completely different.
What happens if steam goes away
How will devs distribute games?
Will we keep our libraries?
>>337793416
>What happens if steam goes away
GOG wins.

GOG.
>Will we keep our libraries?
GOG.
>>337793416
It won't go away, it's a part of PC ecosystem. The only way for Steam to go away is nuking every Steam data center. Even if Valve goes bankrupt someone will pick from where they left. Steam will die only when conventional computers will die and that will be a sad day indeed.
>>337793694
Maybe it won't die but it's likely that one day it will become so shit that it's good as dead
In that case you lose everything
What exactly is wrong with edgy characters?
They try to impress, be feared and respected, and they achieve the opposite, they're pathetic and hilarious.
Teenagers are attached to them, and as young adults we try to distance ourselves from what we liked and made as a kid to make us feel a little more mature
They're hard to pick up.
