how did we go from this..
Why is this series forever cursed to never have another game?
>call of putty cancelled, not a peep out of interplay in terms of footage, etc.
>dsiware version cancelled, only a few screenshots from interplay
>2016 version cancelled
The games were kinda shit, but the use of claymation and the batshit crazy ideas for characters seem to be unmatched. I can't think of any weirder rosters in a fighting game- closest was Skullgirls but even that doesn't match shit like...

They cancelled the HD game? That's really disappointing, I have a lot of fond memories playing the first one and Sculptor's Cut as a kid. I used to love that Earthworm Jim and Boogerman were in it. Interplay really hasn't been up to much lately. I think if they just smoothed out the clunky controls and brought in some modern fighting mechanics it could at least have a cult following like the old ones. Unfortunately the game is just doomed to fail because of its art direction and oddball nature.
What are your thoughts on dragon age inquisition /v/? Would you recommend playing it?
Finished this today. Best PS3 game I've ever played.
Not sure if I want to. It seems so grindy. I definitely want to go back and finish all of the 'real' content though.
I just don't think I want to go through the trouble of eating every meal at every restaurant and that sort of thing.
I like all of the characters, really. Saejima's probably my least favorite.
Never played an Elder Scrolls, which should I start with?
Suck my balls. OP I personally started with oblivion and I liked it and played all bethesda games but you can start with skyrim if you want thats a perfectly good place to start. In the coming years the next TES game will come out and you'll be ready. If you are turned off by older graphics began playing iwth mods
Oblivion. It's the middle ground. aged terribly graphics wise. from there you can choose to go to skyrim, or back to morrowind and you'll have a better idea of what each game sets out to accomplish
Can someone explain to me how are you supposed to properly use the Guardian job? I assume you can only possess normal enemies and not bosses, so what practical use could it be given? The only think I can think of is having an easier time getting the Catmancer's abilities, but besides that I am lost. Also, general Bravely Default/Second thread, I guess.
Sounds similar to the Guardian from Guild Wars 2
Can any of you guys give me a good medieval renaissance name to give my character in dark souls?
Keep it original now.
I missed all of these because I was too big of a weeb during 6th gen, and I want to play one. Which one is the best series and why?
How can I enjoy this game with a controller, seriously?
I played the first one on PC, decided to play the whole saga (just what I can play at least), so I started 2 on xbox 360, and it's LITERALLY unplayable with a controller. How the fuck do I deal with it? How do you do it console bros?
Is there anyway to play with M+KB on console?
After years of playing shooters on the PC, I decided to replay ODST on my old 360
It was so fucking jarring, couldn't aim for shit, I don't understand how anyone could defend playing shooters with a controller
It's a fucking shame, really. I played only for a few minutes and the game seemed already better than the first game, but in this state is unplayable.
I tried to download it for PC but the game didn't work well, it was a slideshow. Fuck I don't know what to do
Hey guys, just a reminder that Far Harbor DLC is coming out in a few hours. Did you pre-order? It's gonna be worth it, I promise!
Been playing for 4 hours
Pirated that shit
It's pretty good so far but that fucking minigame memory bullshit is annoying as fuck
webm related is the lever action rifle they added
does that new rifle/smg they added use a pistol grip?
I usually dont hold with /v/ hate fests, but Fallout 4 was such a huge disappointment, does the expansion modify the "collect pots and pans to make rocket launchers so you can defeat named mobs" gameplay?
>even /r/masterrace thinks Uncharted 4 is GoTY
Whelp, guess this settles it
It probably will since critics lap up cinematic dog shit like this, just look at TLOU or Witcher 3
Whose the most influential person in gaming?
and why is it
Gaben Newell ?
>Re-play Far Cry 2 for the first time since release
>Remember how annoying this game mechanic was
I'm so glad they dropped that feature in later games.
I personally appreciated that FC2 had annoying game mechanics like this.
I feel the new ones are just flat playgrounds which care too much about being convenient and have a very shallow idea of "fun"
Can we have a discussion about WASD vs ESDF? Without the memes please?
What do you use and why?
Actually most of pro players use ESDF, and it's been scientifically demonstrated that the use of ESDF leads to faster reaction times, and overall better performance.
If you don't believe me, then go ahead a try it. But be aware that once you go ESDF, you ain't going back.
