>PC has no exclusives
>PC has no new games coming out
>PC only has indie shit
>PC has no recent interesting non-indie exclusives
Why do people spread these lies? Is it because they can't afford being idorts? Gaming PC is too expensive so you have to defend your platform of choice.
I'll be enjoying a great exclusive coming out in a few days.
Maybe in 30 patches with the additional purchase of 20 DLC
Of course, this will last all of a week until the game is broken again for the sake of multiplayer balance
I'm sure it'll have all the complexity of EU4 too

Is this DLC really worth it? I absolutely fucking HATE the idea of DLCs so I never buy them, yet so many people claim this game isn't even worth playing without it. If you agree with that, how can you even justify that as a business practice?
Theres nothing wrong with DLC if it adds to the base game instead of being carved out of the base game to be sold to you after.
The Dark Souls 1 DLC is quite obviously an after thought as it takes place in an area completely separate from the rest of the game, and therefore the base game was not in any way shape or form hampered by its existence.
If you like the base game then get the DLC, its more than worth the money in this particular case
Justify that as a business practice? Justify what? That you hate the IDEA of DLC's and never buy it but this one game you posted a picture of people praise the DLC as good.
What the fuck are you even expecting as a response you fucking spreg?
why are the best characters always written out of the plot of a series?
i always wanted to
join her as a pure spirit being in the master emerald in the original chao garden
she's my favorite sanic girl and she's the best dressed
What do you all think of hitman, now that we have gotten 3 episodes thus far? Do you find it a true sequel to blood money, or just shit? Personally i have barely played the first episode, but i am planning on starting soon. Rather than having to wait so long for each episode. I'm not sure if i am a fan of the episodic format, but i suppose that perhaps allows them to put more effort into every mission? Supposedly episode 3 is pretty damn good.
You guys overestimate how good Blood Money actually is. Larger levels with more options (like in Hitman 2016) are objectively better and more fun.
Even the biggest levels of BM were fairly small and limited.
Yeah they were, but blood money was pretty good. I liked absolution too if i am gonna be honest, since the storyline there gives you a reason for it being like it is. And i think several of the missions in absolution was quite good. In a dev video the devs said that all the events leading up to this hitman game may or may not have happened.
The levels are good, much better than absolution and they're big enough to be a proper playground. Episode 3 is weak in comparison to Sapienza but it's still fine, if they maintain the same quality this game will be a great return to form after Absolution.
You know the one. That one tune that just screams "this ride is only beginning".
Don't mind me, just posting the hyspest first stage music in vidya
Why do people complain about how easy games are now when they don't touch the harder difficulty modes?
>when they don't touch the harder difficulty modes
You don't know me.
cant they leak NX stuff like normal people?
>"You got banned from the server, reason: GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY SERVER YOUR MISOGYNISTIC RACIST HOMOPHOBIC TRUMP SUPPORTER"
>gets fired from the job next day
>on Samaritan's black list now
What went right?
So fellow gamers, have you been drinking your NVIDIA© GeForce © GTX© Energy Drink today?
Drink up and you can be as radical as Swifty©

Why is Hanzo the best Range character and Is hanzo for sexual?
What's comfier? PC or console?

Konami has finally delivered the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake we've been demanding!
Are konami run by jews? Greed makes one make terrible things but this...
Can we have a game dev thread? Not a general, just a once-off.
Are you working on something?
Post your progress here.
More /tg/ than /v/, but I'll post in a ded thred.
A browser-based (ES6, Pixi.js) hexagonal grid terrain generator, to be used as an aid to Game Masters without enough time to plan a campaign. The basic idea is you get a randomly generated world full of random points of interest, and you can roll for a random encounter on each hex and it will spit out some interesting one-line story prompt. To be combined with some good improvisation on the part of the GM of course. Not tied into any particular RPG system, so no stat blocks or any of that shit because I can't be arsed integrating them.
ATM I've got a simplex noise based heightmap, and a falloff gradientmap, generating islands like in pic related. Next step is to add some user interaction (pan and zoom, dialog boxes when selecting a hex). Then I've got a wishlist of things to add:
>Tolkienesque map styling. Draw perturbed edge outlines along the coast, insert hand draw elements like compass rose and waves, try to give everything a hand drawn look and present it on a parchment texture.
>Place points of interests in appropriate places (no idea how to do this). Towns, castles, settlements etc.
>Write, steal and maybe crowdsource the random events.
>Various save/export features. Save on the server, email a link to yourself so you can take it on your tablet, export the entire world state as JSON, let the user modify it, then import it back in (A built in editor is waaaay out of scope, so this seems like a simple way to let GMs customise the random world).
No because these threads devolve in dick measuring circlejerk over engines and code languages.
There's a reason all of the /v/faggots who published a game never bothered with these threads.
I've done some work on ui elements, added a functional "zelda-style" health bar, some HUD stuff, and an inventory panel.
For now, the inventory is nothing but a picture, I will work on the logic soon, maybe next week.
contributing a cheeky little video game thread to help fight all the off-topic nonsense.
this one's based on Overwatch.
I feel that Overwatch is going to be my go-to game for quite some time. Unlike many other multiplayer games - it has replayability in things like testing out different team comps and trying out all the heroes in different, creative ways.
All in all, Blizzard has outdone themselves and I can't wait to see what they have planned for the future of the game.
Been having a lot of fun with the game. Anyone got any cool webms?
Only got a few of myself, no h8 :^(
