Let the flames of war burn
Hey, /v/. I just bought this game and started playing.
There's one thing that is bothering me.
What the fucking hell is going on.
I feel like I could love this game, but I need to get a grip with the mechanics and shit. Is there a guide? The in-game tutorials are about as mystifying as everything else in the game.
>tfw the closest thing to being a Blade Runner has been canned
Oddly enough, other then some vague similarities with the story, nothing was the same. Makes me wonder why they used the name, seeings how it wasn't exactly a blockbuster game when it came out.
I don't give a flying a fuck about TES and how much Todd wants to milk the franchise, but seeing this shit announced I really get aggravated by one thing: why in the fuck do video game TCGs made in this day and age insist on animating card game?
Cards are used IRL as a surrogate for grand battle you're imagining happening, with video game technologies you can animate the actual fucking battle. This new TES thing, Heartstone and MTG game all chose to just show me pieces of paper falling on the table, as if that's the reason I play TCGs in the first place.
And it's not like it's a law, Etherlords did it right all the way back in 2001, Pokemon games has been doing it decently since the 90s. So why the fuck are they making the stupid card flopping vidya and who the hell thinks it's acceptable way to make a game in 2016?
Although I can exclude Gwent out of it, since you're already imagining Geralt playing weirdly technical card game with uneducated peasants.
>I can exclude Gwent out of it
What about their upcoming standalone Gwent? Would that be acceptable to be depicting tabletop? Because I'd sure prefer to see a battlefield where Yen, Triss and Dyjkstra lose to ten ballistas led by Emhyr.
I don't really think anyone imagines MTG battles as anything but putting down cards, except for maybe the most devout of Vorthoses.
As for this TES crap, normally I wouldn't give a single fuck, but they actually brought back Tedders to write. Bethesda actually successfully pandered to me for once. So I might check it out.
Is pic related the only hope for arena shooters now that Quake is officially dead?
>Cover me while I hack this terminal!
Why is this program so awful?
>that one game that will never get a sequel
What's her name /v/?
>tfw nothing will ever top this
E3 is kill
That wasn't even close to the best E3 moment, hell I'd even go as far to say that it barely even makes the top 10.
Nerdleaks is saying FInal Fantasy XV will have a live stage demo at the Microsoft press conference.
All versions Destiny is 50% off right now on Xbox Live. Should I get it? Is it good right now?
two conferences down and not a single thing worth picking up
will this be the worst e3 yet?
>EA and Bethesda
anybody who expected anything is a retard.
This is a Japanese game studio.
Do you learn new things about a game each time you replay it?
>game takes up more that 50 Gigabytes
