>Use all your strongest items and attacks against the boss
>You were supposed to lose to activate its next phase
>tfw you beat the boss before you're supposed to and the game crashes
>it starts you back at the beginning of the fight when you get the game working again
I cannot tell you how many times this has happened to me.
What went right?
She's got a very fun moveset but the Koholint map feels pretty lame with its early repeats of similar battles and forced item grinding straight out the door.
That's just my early impressions though. I'll get back to it eventually.
You're not wrong.
On the other hand, it's also a boon for finally leveling up your Wind Waker cast badges. There's a square in the lower left with giant bosses that's two helmaroc kings and a phantom ganon, alongside big blin peons. And then you can use the one instrument for double material drops.
Plus, if you play all eight instruments and open the egg, instrument effects last for 6 turns instead of 3.

You know, it would have been better if he turned out to be kasumi's lost lover. Maybe then she wouldn't have been such a cunt all of a sudden for no reason and actually help you

Lately I've been thinking about the concept of an mmorpg without levels. To me levels are just a way to drag you along and prevent you from hitting end game too quickly. Once you do hit end game all there is to do is a few dungeons and raids. Without levels I believe a mmorpg can focus on the entire game rather than what is available at level cap.
The challenges I see with this system is finding a way to keep people going back to all zones and keep raids and dungeons difficult once you get whatever gear is considered the best in slot. There is also the problem of...

There has to be some level of progression. Even if each dungeon rewards players with new gear, there is no incentive to collect it unless there is higher-tiered content that they can only do with the new gear.
Is there any other publisher which has a more flawless combination of gameplay, art, writing, music, and world building? Seriously, what the fuck is up with Supergiant that they keep both innovating the narrative form of videogames while still keeping them incredibly fun?
Pic related, probably my favorite game of all time.
