Daily reminder that Monolith Soft are the real masterminds behind Zelda BotW, and not Aonuma.
After the crippling, ball shattering disappointment that Xenoblade X was I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be happy about this
>>341964457
People will literally jump at any chance to take credit away from Miyamoto and/or Aonuma. I bet Platinum was behind everything good about SFZ, and Miyamoto was behind everything bad, right? Keep spreading bullshit.
Monolith worked on Skyward Sword as well.
>people love new zelda
Why...it looks like shit
It's just a meme, don't worry. /v/ is just up to their usual shenanigans trying to hype a game up just before reality comes crashing down hard on them.
Because we need a steady stream of games to hype up and then shit on as soon as they launch when they don't live up to the hype
They know what the word fun means
Alright /v/, who do you main?
>maining anyone
Thanks for playing the game wrong, dipshit. Enjoy your loses.
Lucio was my first "main" as in first pick every match.
>main
this aint no fighting game
So I just played the demo on Steam.
Why does /v/ hate it?
It's fast
It's brutal
It looks good
It runs well
Story is reduced to a minimum
The game starts instantly with no cinematic bullshit
Animations are good
More than decent difficulty
>>341964302
/v/ doesn't hate it, most of the threads about it are praise.
>>341964302
It's decent, worth maybe 15 bucks (not 60 lol)
>DOOM autistic purists who have been playing the same game for 23 years, and would hate it no matter what
>It has Denuvo, so assmad pirates shitpost it non-stop
It's usually one of these. The game is great, but there's no way you can discuss it on /v/.
So anyone else looking forward to Silent Hills? Can't wait to see what Kojima will do with the IP.
Theories on the plot?
>Silent Hill is a place that takes the subject's deepest, darkest subconscious regrets/desires and manifests it as part of the town
>Reedus' character is a special case, able to traverse through different people's 'Silent Hill'
>Hinted through 'the gap in the door is a separate reality'
>Hence...

Did you just wake up from a coma
>>341964037
Either a pity-able time traveler, or a man from a better dimension than we're in.
bruh
Did you beat it yet?
SPELL
>>341963886
I played it for a while but the grinding was atrocious.
I got to level like 15 before I metaphorically through it in the trash.
>>341963886
The original DraQue? Yeah, I played the SFC version.
So /v/, what's your favorite System Shock game?
Do you prefer BioShock?
Are you looking forward to System Shock 3?
For me I think SS1 has better exploration and puzzles, but SS2 has better combat. I'm really curious to see what direction they'll take the 3rd one in.
I thought system shock 2 was just more well thought out than the original system shock.
I just don't want them to water it down for system shock 3, but I know that's exactly what's going to happen
>>341964083
yeah the first game was kind of a clusterfuck, but to me I think it still has a charm to it that I think the sequel lacks
I really like how the first game ties in with the sequel, but since most people skip to SS2 they'll miss out on the whole beta grove thing
I hope they bring back cyberspace levels for the 3rd game
my life right now
I'm enjoying the game now thanks to the mouselook in enhanced edition, but I remember the first time I fired up the game in DOSbox, played with it for 30 seconds, then said "absolutely fucking not"
You're going to play as best faction, right /v/?
>>341963381
I'm not buying it until they remove the sjw bait that is female knights.
>>341963381
If by best faction you mean Vikings then yes
>>341964554
this
the combat looks also really boring desu
it´s so slow and you can almost hear the game searching for animations
it looks even more choreographed then assassins creed
also the story apparently being abut "muh female goddess of war tricks the stupid men into fighting each other because women are so much smarter then men" also kills all interested for it
What does /v/ think of Mafia III?
>>341963347
I don't have high expectations but I'll wait and play it before I make my judgement.
>>341963347
Looks cool. I'm glad they focus on black gangs. Getting tired of that Joe Pesci "how u doing" nonsense
Used to be a fantasy of being in the mafia. Now it's an SJW version of Grand Theft Auto
Time to leave the internet!
>>341963090
Honestly this game leaking out is goldface worthy except we're actually getting it if we wait
>>341963289
I could've chosen to use the 3DS review code my site got, but I specifically went with Vita.
Otherwise I probabpy would've made a CIA so I could play through it on my hacked nip N3DS.
Wouldn't have leaked it regardless.
Post something besides the title screen or fuck off.
apologize
>>341963070
YOU
Is Aonuma the Miyamoto of open world games?
Sorry aonuma-san
HOLY SHIT I CANT WAIT
its fucking real..................
Halo 2 and 3 were actually on Steam for testing. Im still a member of the official groups
Halo is a mediocre game series that coasts by on having little competent competition in the consolero sphere
Why is this game fucking structured like this? The original formula was perfect.
I was just getting back into it when suddenly it's doing these shitty micro games again.
>>341962648
Because it's a game for children. The challenge train more than makes up for it, and sometimes is more stressful than fun.
I don't think I've seen a single thread about this game that wasn't complaining about something
>>341962648
Once you get to Lush Tower it's fine. There's plenty of challenge to be had in Megamix. I really don't see why so many people are complaining.
Is there such thing as too much content? Pic related
>>341962590
I've never played that game, but yeah. Padding out the experience will bore the player. The Assassin's Creed series comes to mind.
>>341962590
Only if a games story drags on for way too long. But that doesn't apply to the Yakuza series.
Too much content is a complaint from people that don't invest any time and effort into a game.
DSP for example.
>>341962951
>>341962590
Nope. It's only bad if the extra content is obligatory to advance the game.
Almost all yakuza's sidequests can be ignored and you can just rush through the main story.
The first assassin's creed was basically all padding, besides the assassination missions themselves, cause they were the same 3-4 mission before every assassination with the minimal amount of variation.
>tfw when we finally get a zelda that matches the feel of this concept art
Will dump

Sorry about the picture size

Where do these come from?
