The only backstage footage we have from the original series is from a single crew member who brought his camera to work to mess around with. I remember him showing it during a con. He was a builder of some sort so a lot of it was just working on monster costumes and set, but there were some cool shots of them actually building part of a megazord for close ups. Also a few clips of the actual actors rehearsing. They cuss a lot and everyone seemed high, but it all seemed very jovial. I don't know if the footage is still up on YouTube but the last I heard he said Saban had approached him because they wanted to buy his footage for a special features kind of thing for the anniversary collection. I don't know if that ever went through or not.

Jones: Exercised with Johnson - she'd teach him gymnastic and he'd teach her how to dance. Yost teased him about being black but they were still tight. Pals with Trang and attended her funeral. Lived with St. John, hosted parties all the time. Didn't always invite Frank.
Johnson: Exercised with Jones. Best friends with Trang and spoke at her funeral. Says Austin St. John was a liar and hasn't spoken to him since he left the show. Fucked Frank.
Yost: Teased Jones about being black, but they were still buddies. Close with Trang and attended her funeral. Friends with St. John, hung over at his and Jones' place all the time. Hated Frank initially but grew closer during Zeo and babysat his kids.
Trang: Loved by most, closest with Johnson. Everyone went to her funeral except Frank. Johnson spoke at the funeral.
St. John: Lived with Jones. Johnson didn't like him. Close with Yost. Hated Frank for moving in on the leadership role, Frank called him a liar.
