Half the movie was just poorly edited short scenes of stuff happening that never really progress the story forward then it was all smashed together at the end and smothered in CGI.
Lex's only good moment in the film was when he was talking to Superman on the roof of the building.
It tries to be three different things at once at the structure suffers because of it, the scenes lack an underlying causality so the movie has no drive and it ends in a big dumb CGI ending like any other superhero movie you've seen.
Some strong visuals and the whole movie being thick with allussions to Rennaissance paintings and universal literature ultimately don't save the movie from itself, sadly.
I enjoyed Batfleck though, and would gladly watch an Affleck directed Batfleck movie.

I loved and hated that scene.
I liked how Lex maintained control the entire time without showing any fear, going as far as to touch superman while he's on his knees and mock him.
I also hated it because Superman (like most of the movie) didn't say much at all or act very much like superman might. He didn't need to quip, but he just kind of floated there without anything to say except "you're going to jail bro"
