JLU Superman is really good, just like everything in the DCAU.
Dealing with the mistrust of the people, the government, all while Lex tries to bait him is all pretty good. The strain it puts on his relationships when he's not the golden boy for the first time. Also, you can't help but love episodes like For the Man who has Everything, and that one where he goes to the future.

For “Batman v Superman,” I wanted to really dig into everything from ideas about American power to the structure of revenge tragedies to the huge canon of DC Comics to Amazon mythology. For “Justice League,” I could be reading in the same day about red- and blueshifts in physics, Diodorus of Sicily and his account of the war between Amazons and Atlanteans, or deep-sea biology and what kind of life plausibly might be in the Mariana Trench.

Get fucking real, a superhero movie is a superhero movie. And the sad thing is you honestly believe that it is 'true cinema'. It's no more valid than a Marvel film. What they are is great entertainment.

It really wasn't. The MCU movies aren't faithful to the comics. People say this because they never really cared for the characters before the movies but it ins't the truth.
That's the problem here. Nobody gave a crap about Iron Man before the movies so they see RDJ charisma and that's enough despite RDJ being the exact opposite of what Iron Man used to be like.
But in the case of the DC's movies everybody has their own version of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and, heck, even Aquaman. So they're much more picky about these characters portrayals.
