10/10 endings ITT
Absolutely brilliant once you realize that police sirins and cars driving off can be heard during the first literal minute of this movie - implying that the main character at the beginning is dreaming while he is watching himself be chased by the cops as this film's ending reveals.

Is that supposed to make it better? The ending's already ambiguous. This eliminates ambiguity by explicitly leaving out the part where Bruce Wayne might be alive.

Carpenter has always been great when it comes to endings. The only time he really fucked up an ending is Ghosts of Mars.

More like vomit atop a shit pie. Fucking stupid all powerful bitch who needs no man and a stupidfucking plot that made no sense. By the film end I literally felt like finding disney and jj and beating the two of them senseless.

You can watch the first movie, Death & Rebirth, instead of the series and you'll have the jist of it.
>>72109331
you probably won't understand anything without having seen the television series
but it's worth checking out anyway just for the imagery
>>72109331
It's literally beyond Kino
>>72109331
It is indeed the ending to a TV series.
Sure, you can watch the movie and understand it without watching the show, but I would not recommend doing that.
All in all, just go watch it.

>Happy ending
I like endings that make sense. I don't care if they're happy or not.

We need Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt fucking, so we can't bother to explain anything that just happened, let's just say it all magically worked out in the end. i don't always feel the need to use logic, when enjoying a silly sci-fi action/adventure movie anon. logic has no place in a movie like this. if i applied logic to everything, most films, music, and literature would be joyless.
i mean...are you joking? or do you really go through life like this?
>>72110035
not that guy but all i ever want from science fiction/fantasy is that it be internally consistent and follow the rules it sets up for itself, which is something that Edge of Tomorrow failed to do in its ending
still a pretty solid movie, though. definitely better than most studio-produced action these days.
>>72110035
I'm annoyed when movies explain stuff, and create internal logic, yet completely go outside of that internal logic with zero explanation.
I love Edge of Tomorrow, it's probably my favorite movie of 2014. However I hate the ending.
>>72109640
>logic about resetting time
Right. He got the Omega's blood on him and unfucked the whole shit up, what else do you want?
>>72110116
How does killing the Omega bring the time back to some arbitrary point? Why wouldn't killing the Omega end the time jumping? Why would it jump to that specific point and not the point it always jumped to? How does having the Omega blood do anything, when it's the Alpha blood that triggers the time jump?
>>72110101
>his favorite movie of 2014 isn't pic related

I don't think it's necessarily inconsistent.
when alphas are killed the omega resets the day. Tom cruise is infused with alphas ability after being exposed to it's blood. it's not unreasonable to extend the transfer of ability to exposure to omega blood. Regardless it's better than the too silly end to the novel.
