i know OP is trying to bait, but Miyazaki is probably the greatest single traditional animator to have ever lived.
Many of the 'money shots' from his groutbreaking films he animated himself-- there's very few directors of animation that can say that.
His understanding of movement and three dimensional space and his ability to realize their effects in traditional animation are beyond comparison.
Still, as traditional animation has faded, so has his relevance. His best film, was also his first feature, so it's been basically downhill from there.
