Why did this get canned when it's so good?

Hollywood hates Jim Caviezel ever since he did The Passion of the Christ.

What a damn shame. He's so underrated. None of that ego the other actors have. And Michael Emerson's similar. In fact they give some of the more life affirming interviews I've seen from actors.

My wife's son and I are on Season 4 (episode 2). I really really enjoyed the first couple seasons which were more episodic, but it was starting to get a bit stale... sure enough since Season 3 it's become much more serialized and has managed to keep my interest. I really love the characters. I remember when they first introduced Shaw and me and my wife's son were like "ugh this character is terrible AND she's going to be in a bunch of episodes?" but now... easily my favourite.

Same! I liked the interesting pace of different numbers. After the middle of season 3, it became a different show in a way. Still kept me watching. I really miss Carter. And all the other characters - brilliant acting. Even the one who played Kara - really made me hate her.

Interesting to see Enrico Colantoni as a villain.

I like Jim Caviezel too. He should be a leading man in more films. I don't understand why he's not.

I just said why, it's because he was in The Passion.

how about link some evidence? sorry if i'm disinclined to believe someone posting on /tv/.

Do you guys really like it?

I would always come home form work and my dad would be watching it. It looked horrible. And those lesbians shooting into the smoke, holy fuck that's laughable bad.

We watch it for the plot.

Jim Caviezel has talked about him knowing the film would negatively affect his career but it was something he had to do, Mel Gibson also told him it would hurt his career.

it's pretty corny. it's a show i have on while i'm doing other things. the computer/god plotline is kind of interesting. it reminds me of some anime made 20 years ago, but with live action. it's not great, but it's entertaining.

huh. i don't doubt you. mel gibson is obviously blacklisted. maybe, i'll look for some interviews. it is believable that doing that role would ruffle some hollywood feathers.

Jim Caviezel has such a varied interview profile. Like, he'd be talking about the Church and Jesus and in the next one, singing the lead with Chicago. I saw in some reddit AMA Michael Emerson did that Caviezel's pretty funny. His comedic timing was fantastic even when he delivered them dry. Even awkward lines like that "Knock, knock" in the first episode.

I really love it. Had to warm up to Cocopuffs but she gets better as the seasons go on. There isn't much bad acting. Some stories are a bit lame but overall it's pretty satisfying justice porn.

It's something I enjoy watching while I eat. I dont find it exactly great, but for some reason I still watch it. Got through the first season and on the third ep of the second.

It has pretty good arc. I also like how they utilize hidden trivia easter eggs, inaudible morse code and other shit in their narrative.
