I finally finished Mad Men. Were you satisfied with the ending?
>>72069536
You're not supposed to be.
Yes, what the fuck is that image though OP
>>72069562
Almost everyone had a good ending, except for Betty who gets a death sentence. Did the writers hate January Jones?
As for Don, he did what he's good at doing and thats re-inventing himself.
a chip n dip?

I liked the ending, particularly Draper's. Using that Coke commercial was a great way to pull on heart strings and show that his character kept doing what he did best. I was definitely wanting more. The shows and films I like best are ones that me sad that the story is over. I felt this way with Mad Men. I felt the same way about Once Upon a Time in the West.

Very close, but simply not as good. The ending really hurts it too.
However I understand why you would feel that way and while I don't agree with you I can certainly accept your opinion as valid

okay buddy

>Don

>Don coming home to Betty at the end of season 3 and having to come clean. Seeing her look down on him is fucked up.

>>72070025
I don't know but the show evolved very well throughout the seasons
Pete, although I really like Don and never see him getting love in threads like this. I guess he's not really a personal favorite but the character of Don Draper was so well done
Betty
I donno
THE KING ORDERED IT
The Beatles, when Don turns them off haha

She's just a temperamental child in a grown woman's body.
>>72070325
I love Betty
I was crying the whole time because it was ending.
No more comfy evenings after work before sweet sleep
>>72070421
Don is probably the most well written character on the show; Roger is just a personal favorite because every line of dialogue he has is interesting. But he's not nearly as complex as Don so I can respect that a lot.
Pete is too, in fact I don't think there is really one bad character in this show.

NO HILDY GF
also Abigail spencer is kind of weird looking for some reason, she doesnt look real like a doll or something
Why does Pete always get the best girls?
>>72070792
Because Pete is incessant
>>72069731
Every character had a bad or a non-present mother. Betty dying shows you that ultimately Sally and Bobby will lead lives just as fucked up so Don's
>>72069536
>don ditches his family
>his career
>becomes a fucking hippie
no, I didn't like the ending because it was bullshit. and don't give me any of that coke commercial excuse bs. if he did the commercial, why didn't they show it?
>>72070823
>>72070792
I find Mad Men horribly unrealistic just because of the idea that someone would cheat on Alison Brie
>>72070871
I 100% believe Don went back and made the coke commercial
They didn't show it because they wanted to leave it somewhat ambiguous
>>72070792
Pete married her IRL.
>>72070871
>>72070913
>>72070874
Pete was a Mad Man
>>72070874
yeah but then I think about the character of Pete: always unsatisfied. He never gets what he wants because he is always looking forward. Permanently unsatisfied.
>>72070936
Fucking hell, Pete's amazingness even makes his actor win at life too

>>72070966
nah
>>72070874
This made me think of Pete and the high schooler
And then he gets cucked by the jock lmao
>>72070983
Yeah I feel more for Pete at least in terms of lack of satisfaction. But I'm much younger and I don't have a career or family of my own yet so it's hard to tell.
