The ships in SW aren't big enough yet to be lightspeed-catapaulted into planets and have them blow up. They are trying out some instances of ships coming out of lightspeed and crashing into a planet that's too close because of a failed jump trajectory, but it just causes the ships to get extreme damage and that's it.
