There's quite a lot of evidence Roman's bourght African slaves to Britain especially Londoninium. They were absorbed into the local population quite quickly and unlikely to have had anyone with noticeable African features by the middle ages. But it did happen. Arthur is a complete myth anyway. Historians have never been able to identify any real figure matching anything more than a fragment of the stories.

This. What's even the point of this movie? I doubt anyone wanted a movie where King Arthur starts as a London criminal and inhabits a story with no basis in anything people are familiar with. If people want to see a King Arthur movie, they don't want it to be something with no connection to Arthurian myth. Even if the studio is dead set on some kind of revisionist thing, why not base it on something like the Warlord Chronicles which frequently references the stories we know. This might be fun, but the idea behind it seems needless and stupid.
Also, Arthur really needs to reach out to the Irish, set up a meet, and work together out of the Saxons. Get out of swords and into legit business. Jesus Christ.
