I think it's fair to say that, if nothing else, JJ-Trek gave us the best looking array of Starfleet uniforms ever. The movies are like costuming porn.

The first one was pretty good, but a bit vacuous. It was like a glib summary of Star Trek. The second was such an abortion of storytelling that I wouldn't be displeased if I heard Alex Kurtzman, Bob Orci, or Damon Lindelof had lost the ability to write.
