Has anyone seen Blå Ögon? I'm learning Swedish and thought this series was quite interesting and thought provoking as it focuses on the threat of far-right parties. Sweden is dealing with the far-right threat at the moment with the Swedish Democrats, which inspired the show's creator Alex Haridi to create it.

Hey, Swede here. Let me tell you what happened:
Miljöpartiet, MP, is a left-wing party who are really into identity politics. Their voter base consists of mostly young people from urban areas, the biggest which is Stockholm. These people are upper middle class, so basically they're incredibly privileged. They described themselves as a feminist party, and also promised open borders with no limitations. And I really mean open borders, there would be no limit at all.
So, then this whole crisis with Syria happens. The picture of the dead child on the beach sets in motion a series of events, making most of Swedes almost excited over helping everyone out. "REFUGEE WELCOMES" becomes the slogan, the anti-immigration people disappear during this phase, and journalists describes this movement as "the end of the dark fascists forces that has been up and coming".
So then, some weeks later, tens of thousand people pour into Sweden each week. It becomes unbearable. Lots and lots of communities beg our prime minister for help, saying they're down on their knees; the police, school, health are crumbling. Some people are working 12-hour shifts each day and we're running down on places to put all the refugees. We're literally out of space and people start suggesting we make tents in the forests of small communities in the north (where it gets really cold during the winter).
Our prime minister is basically quiet during all this time. He and Miljöpartiet who are our government have promised to never ever close our borders. That's literally been their slogan.
And then, of course. He closed the borders. The leader of MP starts crying during the press conference (1/2).
But it doesn't end there. Kaplan, a minister in the party, refuses to shake hand with a woman. He says that it goes againat his religion. The media takes notice and a shitstorm ensues. A minister in MP claims he "didn't realize women would take offense at something like this". Not only that but appaerently Kaplan had dinner with islamists.
Kaplan is fired and so is the Åsa, the one who cried during the press conference (she referred to 9/11 as an "accident".)
The party has now lost, like, almost all of their support. The core group, young women, has abandoned it for... guess what? The Feminist party. (2/2)

Several things are needed to get things together:

Right now deportations are a joke and there's no way we'll be able to deport the amount that our government says, and our police force is facing hardships with a lot of policemen and women quitting due to bad conditions with pay and work hours/tasks.
>3. Fix the fucking school system and police force
Right now our schools aren't doing well. Not only the immigrants are doing badly but Swedish children as well, mostly due to the funding being on a communal level instead of a state one, which makes it hard to standardize shit and funding is very different from school to school.
>4. Stop encouraging it.
It's social suicide to say anything bad about immigrants, or rather the culture where they come from which needs addressing. Cultural relativism is dangerous and people from other countries who come to Sweden need to learn to adapt to our values or not be here at all.
