DCEU is crap though

It came out in 2001, and the documentary that comes on the 9th disc is exellent, but I wouldn't recommend it because most of them other than 2001 and the ones that were shot in 4:3 are formatted wrong
Im planning to upgrade to the bluray set once I've gotten around to collecting some other things on my list

WD REDS are getting cheaper.

>Build a full tower comp.
>Buy 6x 6tb REDS
>Store thousands of hours of television and movies.

Maybe I'm just an oldfag, but I like having a physical library of movies. Not to mention you get special features on most of them, and I really enjoy those.
>>
>>71973438
i also like having a physical collection it's nice to look at
>>
For people who buys blurays:
What happens when 4k becomes the norm? Or 8k after that? Do you just get rid of all you current stuff and buy them all over again? Seems pretty wasteful.

if it's wall mounted the hardest part is finding the studs for your wall mounts. next is making sure your measurements are correct. it's the worst putting two shelves then going berserk because your dvd is 3/4th too tall for the space between. bookshelves are worse though, since books aren't most a single standard size.

At work now so can't post a photo, but shelving at along the wall in my office at home. Each format seperated and alphabetised.

i used to like collecting blu rays, but nowadays i just rent from redbox and convert them into losless files and store them on my hard drive with free software, the rental fees are 1/10th the price or less

with how they lose value and the fact that they are about to be obsolete i became disenchanted with blu rays. especially after the same thing happened to my dvd collection

I realized how autistic I was spending dollaridoos on pieces of antiquated plastic. I buy only films that I feel I should support - Spring Breakers, Shame, Tree of Life etc etc. I have a huge amount of space and access too HDB and a number of other PT's, so I seed around 8tbs of data. Stream it all through Plex to about 9 or 10 devices in my home. This is the future.
