I am fucking bored with the monotony of everyday life and feel like watching a fun movie based on true crime stories, is this worth a watch?

It's really good in an almost unintentional sort of way. Like it's a dark comedy, but if you consider the context (and the movie blatantly reminds you in the middle of it) it's almost like insensitive to laugh at it.

Just watch Spring Breakers, it's a much better film. Pain & Gain is advocated for by teenagers who think it's some kinda secret patrician masterpiece and ironically jerk off Michael Bay for it. It's not bad, but it's basically only good because of Wahlberg. A real filmmaker could have done wonders with this budget, script and cast, but Bay mostly botches it.
