The product placement in the show was so shameless that it was hard to hate it
>You want a Coca-Cola©, Ton'?
>Yeah, if you got a Coca-Cola©, that'd be great
>Well, AJ got a job at Blockbuster©
>He puts in a couple'a hours a week stockin shelves at a Blockbustah© (sp)
>Ey Ton', is that the new Escalade©?
etc. etc.
I wish we could actually talk about the series.
I love when Furio first comes in and goes through the laundromat fucking everyone up.
>>71952127
They did it on purpose and made no money of it. Chase wanted it to be as realistic as possible. You know, people drink Cola in real life, instead of a blank can.
>>71952220
Yes I know but when someone asks me if I want a coke, they say "hey you want a coke"
even if it's a shasta or a store brand cola
Who /fanook/ here?
>>71952138
Yeah he jabbed the wife in the face
>tfw norealsex with Melfi
>tfw no sex with Italian Mama
>tfw no sex with psycho THIK qtpie
>tfw Meadow lost her virginity to a literal jewish nigger
>tfw still no gf for you
>>71952138
I really like how Furio plays the ruthless goon and friendly uncle seamlessly.
>>71952220
they never said 'coca cola' you fucking mongrol
you're exaggerating like shit
>>71952397
The scene when Tony is having diarrhea with vomiting and weird dreams, Carmen tells AJ that they're still better be coke in the fridge.
Do you think Tony and Carmela really loved each other or did Tony just stay with her because he wanted to live at home and Carmela needed financial support?
>>71952443
You fucking retard.
>watching every episode again and reading the sopranosautopsy.com articles after each viewing
And I used to think I fully understood the show
>>71952443
>mfw remembering that episode
My fucking favorite.
>>71952486
Second one. Carmela has no way of escaping Tony
>>71952486
Maybe at some points. But it would be seen as incredibly disrespectful in Italian tradition to divorce. Remember appearance is important to them regardless of how hypocritical they are.
TAKE OUT THE ENTIRE FUCKIN FAMILY?

YOUA GOTA A BEE ON YOURE HAT
>wake up
>wipe the cigar ashes, tomato sauce, stripper glitter and gabagool grease from my polyester short-sleeved collared bowling shirt
>breathe heavily and as loudly as possible on my trek down the stairs and across my McMansion to the kitchen (probably the most exercise I've done in years, I never did have the makings of a varsity athlete)
>fix myself a hearty plate of gabagool with a side of gabagool
>pour myself a glass of Tropicana™ with some pulp to wash down the diabetes
>here comes A.J down the stairs
>it's been a good week for him, he only attempted suicide 5 times and he got an F+ on his community college Remedial Arithmetic quiz
>I'm proud of him
>So proud of him that I take him outside to see his new car. My son only drives the best
>A brand-new stretch hummer limo. The safest money could buy, and it gets ten feet to the gallon
>A.J. starts bitching about the environment
>Tell him I'll throw his ass back in the pool if he doesn't shut the fuck up and get in the hummer limo
>He gets in, the hummer limo immediately bursts into flames
>A.J. survives, is angry he's still alive and goes back up to his room to jerk off to interracial porn
>Carmela arrives, she's back from the gabagool market
>She presents to me crates, barrels, backpacks and suitcases packed to the brim with delicious gabagool
>"It took me hours to gather all this gabagool, Tony. A thank you would be nice."
>Give her a gabagool and cigar flavored kiss on the cheek and a crisp $100 bill, and pat her on the head. That'll do, Carm, that'll do.
>Phone rings, it's Meadow
>Everything goes to black, there's no punchline. Fuck you, lmao!

I was waiting for this. Thank you.

Literally the best part of this copypasta as it really nails down the show
I just started watching this show. 3 eps in. The scenes where Tony talks to his therapist always make me sad. They hit too close to home. Aside from being an influential figure in the mob, we're a lot alike. I'm probably going to marathon it on Friday night.
>>71950597
Based ducks, what a great animal.
>>71952603
A real pro. He knows only of that kinda life, so it makes sense in a way.
Thinking of it, Furio was probably the most loyal/professional guy in the entire crew.
>>71953678
you have no idea how much i envy you
>>71953678
the melfi scenes are actually interesting in the beginning. Later in the show half the time its just a regurgitation of what happened in the episode

Except for wanting to hook up with Carmella. It's a shame that there is a 99% chance he's dead in the show universe.
You're chopping up some vinegar peppers when this man comes up from behind and rubs his salsich on your johnnycakes
what do?
>>71954908
>there is a 99% chance he's dead in the show universe.
How so? He fled back to Italy, pretty sure he even admitted having feelings for Carmela to his boss in Italy when he went back for his fathers funeral and he didn't seem to care
>>71955314
Tony hinted to Carmela that he put a hit on him in Napoli
>>71955314
>>71955357
I remember him flat out saying that he had people looking for him.
>>71954378
Because I'm watching it for the first time?
>>71955357
>>71955437
Problem is Furio seems very well liked and respected in the Italian mafia, I can't imagine they'd accept him being whacked because of Tonys jealousy. Could've made for an interesting storyline tbH

I doubt Tony did that. Not sure he has the resources and I think he was just trying to hurt Carmela.

never happened

You list Blockbuster twice as if its more than one example
>Ey Ton', is that the new Escalade©?
Never happens
So you've got one product placement to Blockbuster and thats it. Nice try kid.

when you stop being a faggot
>>71957568
Good point. Well written and rounded(heh heh) out character but she was fucking hateable. Which is interesting because she suffered fromt he same things Tony did, a willing obliviousness to their own problems, and how they're imposing them on those around them. They both do the same things, and make excuses as to why it's not their own fault. but i guess since we see tony's life most of the time we still get accustomed and in some way endeared to his way of being. I guess if we'd follow janice in the same way maybe we'd empathize with her guilt about Harpo, and bobbys kids not really respecting her and shit.
Or maybe HES stalking US...
>WITH WHAT? HIS COCK?
>>71956388
Still counts
Also they ask Ton' "so how do you like that new Escalade©" at the high stakes card game so that's two

I've never seen dreams 'done' anywhere near as perfectly as they are in The Sopranos.
It's borderline genius. The accuracy in the way the show recreates dreams is something that shouldn't be realistically achieved on account of the way our minds forget such a huge amount of the information from our dreams, especially the subtleties of dreams, but The Sopranos nails the subtleties perfectly.
It's almost disturbing.Post your best Sopranos reaction images

That episode The Test Dream is fantastic, I think maybe the best show overall
