>mfw there will never be a show as good as BSG ever again
>>71949110
Your wife is a slut Chief
You mean season one and two right?
3 and 4 were only alright
>>71949133
cally and dualla dying was hard to swallow. the bsg creator had a fucking boner for human suffering.
>>71949178
They're not different in quality. They're like two different shows though. I love both. I'm glad they cancelled it before jumping the gun.
Baltar is also a GOAT character.
>>71949178
season 4 midseason finale and the aftermath until the mutiny episodes were fucking GOAT though. you can't go any darker than this.
>>71949110
>No full season of Admiral Cain running the show
It was a good show but there were definitely some missed opportunities.
>>71949591
That would've been way too much. I loved her and Michelle Forbes but she was in it the appropriate amount
>>71949664
Well she was a little too fierce. And awesome in that way. But they would have tried to show the fragile side of her which they kinda started to do...But then her death probably wouldn't have been as meaningful.
>>71949452
Adama saying "FRAK YOU" to Tigh...god tier.
>>71949895
It wasn't particularly meaningful as is. Far to rushed just to tidy up things at the end of an episode where the colonial fleet was about to destroy itself.
She should have lasted a few more episodes. At least long enough for her and Adama to come to terms instead of retconing things in Razor.
My favorite takeaway from Pegasus was that Adama ending doing or had already done almost all the same stuff Cain was vilified for in the episode.
>i will never be the wingman for starbuck and take down toaser fuckin shits

fucking epic battle though.
>>71949110
Well, something got approved. Shame they fucked it up, utterly. Who the FUCK was Caprica even made for? Because it sure as fuck wasn't for BSG audience.
>>71950720
based lee
>>71950795
I watched the first episode and was 2nd-half of Season 4 levels of offended right away. It is a continuation, just in the worst ways possible.
Everyone who likes this show is a typical average white male basic bitch, with few exceptions.
>>71950535
Tricia Helfer was RIDICULOUSLY hot in the show.

I forgot how much more firepower the Pegasus had over Galactica.
They wasted the wrong ship.
>>71949110
What got him that mad again? All I remember is him watching someone die, he getting mad as shit and then killing someone but I don't remember the specifics.
>>71949273
Well Cally hates toasters, wasnt going to work. Dualla made no sense. All that time searching and right at the end you kill yourself? Fucking hell.
>>71951971
There was some kinda final confrontation thing where the final five had to merge minds to do some shit, which meant they would all share the same memories. And he remembered the brown bitch killing his wife, so he went mad and murdered her ass
>>71949110
>>71949452
Not a big fan of the last season, The old man crying and going crazy didn't set well with me. Then the whole religious bullshit.
>>71952054
They found what they were searching for and it was all a lie.
>>71952054
>civilization gets utterly destroyed, leaving a handful of survivors
>on the run for years while those killers are hunting you and your fellow survivors relentlessly
>After having a faint hope of finding Earth as a refuge and having their long lost brothers bring them in, it's a bombed out apocalyptic wasteland and all hope is gone
>Made no sense
>>71952135
The religion stuff got over the top at the end but in general I liked how they handled spiritualism in the show.
Most scifi shows go the atheism is king route and avoid religion unless its some backwards fanatic terrorists or some enlightened mother earth spiritualist alien race.
Don't mind me, just being the best character on this show.
One of the best soundtracks to a TV show. Based Bear

I still will never forgive them turning All Along the Watchtower into a plot point
i havent watched this show, but boy does it look like shit
>>71952854
It is.
>>71952854
Not a big connoisseur of scifi I take it?
>>71952854
could you elaborate? I'm genuinely curious to know why

bruh

>>71952135
well the religious bullshit was right there from the start. all of head six' dialogue was basically all about that cylon god of hers.
>>71950691
That's because the show was named "Battlestar Galactica", not "Battlestar Galatica and Friends".
And to be honest, ramming that big bitch right down those toasters' throats was fucking epic.
>>71949110
No, because there have been much better.
>>71952854

literally kys
>>71952792
Yes. Best soundtrack I've ever heard.
>>71953027
For all we knew at that point she was a crazy man's delusion. One of the show's strengths was the line it was walking with making her predictions come true but leaving the audience in the dark with whether she truly was an angel or not or if Roslin's visions were real or just a side effect of her medicine. Having them flat out say that it all was true and there was a literal God in the sky moving all the pieces went against the established tone and realism that was set up prevously
Only reason I kept a casual interest in the show
>>71953283
When do they flat out say this? I was drunk/high for most of the last season but I'm sure I would remembered this.
>>71951330
>>71950626
There's something about projectile weapons in space that makes me extremely moist.
>>71950795
>What is we made a show like BSG but made ALL of the characters unrelatable and unlikable pieces of shit?
Caprica.
>>71952854
I know what you mean. I thought it look like shit, like cheap, from the little pics I had seen. Then two of my friends from uni whose opinion I really respected told be that it was their favourite tv show. One had watched it twice. And it was the kind of people that usually don't go crazy with things.
So I gave it a try and I loved it. If you like sci-fi, watch it.
>>71953444
Six and Gaius conversing with the angel versions of themselves as a group and the little epilogue with those angels talking about God in present day NYC were the biggest indicators for me. There were also things like Kara's dad teaching her the song then vanishing, and having that song's notes be the exact coordinates to Earth in jumping from the exact position of space the Galactica was hurling through when the Colony was falling into the black hole. And Kara coming back from the dead and then eventually vanishing into thin air. It went over the line of realism/ambiguity and into pure magic
>>71950215
Adama was just about to do exactly what Cain did. Roslin convinced him otherwise at Ragnar. He probably wouldn't have stripped their ships and conscripted them, but he was willing to abandon them to go and fight.
>>71953783
Its true. Also throughout the series he seized goods from ships, threatened to execute families of people that didn't do what he wanted, tortured Cylons and others, and instituted a coup against the government.
Thats just what I can remember off hand and for the most part his actions were sound.
atmopshere and music? Fuck no I doubt you will.
Overall execution? its been done before.
It was really good and a wild ride while it came out, but the ending really crushed its overall reputation.
It had a ton of amazing moments and is about as close to a Homeworld TV show as we'll get.

Tragic part is, she still loved him.;_;
