I don't really have a problem with romantic subplots as a concept, some of my favourite movies have romance.
But the romance you see in the majority of movies, which are paper thin, totally unbelievable, just two attractive people fucking, most of the time one of them is hardly a character, shoved in because they need to appeal to normies when just focusing on the main movie would have made for a better product and so on just annoys me.
If you are going to put in a romance in something thats only an hour and a half or two hours long, put in enough time to make it feel less like pandering.
