He's right though, 80s and 90s style of bureaucratic office management was not how humans should be. It's why that kind of corporate culture is rapidly fading and you dont see high rises stuffed to the brim with cubicles and miserable office workers that much any longer.

I heard a story about it on NPR
>>
>>71904730
What dreamworld do you live in when corporate cubicle culture is on the decline? In my experience it's only getting worse, relentlessly so, with absolute no sign of slowing down or stopping.

Which is to say domestic employees are being fired and their jobs are being outsourced to indians.

>Every "office" style job is moving away from forced cubicle monkeying because the vast majority of such work can be done remotely.

Just because the job can be done remotely doesn't mean these companies are awarding that to their employees, or that it's even more efficient to outsource them. The trend has actually been moving back towards having employees come to the office so they can't have any distractions and are more productive while on the clock.

These guys. I can fully relate to the ecstatic feeling of the consultants when Peter just pours out dozens of points that we can include in our consulting report. One good interview can be enough to earn our whole €50-200K fee. No more work needed.

On the other hand, if we don't find anything to report, we have to scrape for a lot of weak bullshit hear and there to earn our outrageous fee. And that takes time.

Scary how well Mike Judge (the director/writer) knows this shit

lol, no it wasn't.

He wouldn't complain as much if the two Bobs were not coming to fire his friends.

And part of why he acted the way he did in the movie is because he was still under hypnosis

Tony and AJ's relationship reminded me of the relationship I had with my dad, it's uncanny

I had to turn off the show for a little while after AJ's suicide attempt, things got too real

Me and a friend actually has this exact dynamic, and many of their biggest character traits. My friend is a huge history buff, and I'm a failed musician for example.

A combination of these two and Pat Bateman for me.

this is basically what is happening. youtube, instagram, facebook. the era of customer-created content is at an all time high. why have to spend money on employees when you can just have your customers share their own data.

because its a movie

the odds of someone as attractive as her working some shitty restaurant gig are slim to none.

every hot waitress i've ever seen seems to enjoy it, and top that with the fact that ron livingston is a 5 at best and would never get with anniston is also hilarious.

Manual labour doesn't kill your body, Anon. I haven't been to a gym in a decade and I have the body of a swimmer through work alone. I also never exercise outside of work and can run almost indefinitely without getting out of breath. Physical jobs are brilliant for your health, especially if you eat right and don't smoke or drink excessively. It's essentially being paid to exercise.

28. But my dad has been a plasterer for most of his life and he's still fit as a fiddle -he could outrun me by a mile and then bench press me. The only way to fuck yourself up with physical work is if you don't lift shit correctly and fuck up your joints/back.

This. Except six months ago I was simply a wagecuck.
Now I'm doing the same job for the same people but as an independent and I4m paid 50% more. So I guess I'm even more like Lou now.

Though I haven't provocatively hit on older women yet.

Recommend me a relatively easy blue collar career bro. White collar work culture has me on a maximum antidepressant dose for 8 years now.
Do i need to be able to lift hard? My body is fairly frail

Maybe the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence?

People with sad souls would prefer to suffer the opposite, and people with sad bodies would rather suffer a sad soul...
Just like when poor people think money solves everything.
