Battlefield games only got a "storymode" 6-7 years ago. They've been shoving that shit down our throats instead of improving sandbox gameplay.
I love me some Battlefield, but seriously, what the fuck is this supposed to be about?
Call of Duty I can understand, since it's always been like 50/50 story/multiplayer.

I'm decent at Battlefield, not great but alright, but I just play for fun. The series are pretty great, and definitely better than COD.
However, BF:4 really has the worst maps, it's disappointing considering 2 and 3's maps were really good.
BF: Bad Company might make an enjoyable movie, but the game's story/theme is pretty much just an homage to existing movies.
The main series story is just garbage used to justify a $60 price tag.
Battlefield peaked in quality a decade ago, it's only gone downhill since EA took over.
