I found it to be pretty disappointing, at least from a cinematic experience.
Sure the game is fun even though it's a little short, but the story was kind of bleh.
I mean Ivor Shandor was the big bad the whole time? I thought he was just an architect and maybe a creepy Aleister Crowley type, but the not the fucking devil.
Also the retreads were kinda lame.

I find it more alarming that 1/5th thought it was a 10/10 flawless movie. It's much more believable that people saw it and got 0 enjoyment out of it.

It was clearly written as a video game first and foremost and it did have nostalgia pandering, but even so I think as an overall video game experience it was greater than the sum of its parts. If you just chopped up the cutscenes into a movie it would be pretty ho-hum, but the interactivity and the ability to explore the world of Ghostbusters as a character really sold it.
