I watched the first season and was mildly entertained while I was watching it. Now I've forgotten almost everything about it. That might say more about me than the show.

Season Two is pretty alright considering the show just stops being about Marco Polo after the first 2-3 episodes or so and basically becomes the Mongol Empire version of the Tudors.

As far as historically accurate goes - no. They took way too many creative liberties with this show, but it was for the better I'd say. If you want historically accurate watch something else. This show is cartoony.

it's not bad, kublai khan is great and the main reason why i watch (basically a robert baratheon without the crippling alcoholism and depression). set design and costumes are really good, story isn't that bad, bit forgettable though.
