Can we discuss how good it is and how it is better than no country?
better than no country, no
really good movie. yes

>better than no country?
why even compare, kind of odd?
Original version is better. Less padded out with dumb shit like the secretary rape, retard PI, and DeNiro shoving his fingers into Juliette Lewis's mouth (even though that was hot)
No Country, while also having a relentlessly evil motherfucker as the villain, is a much different film and I don't understand why you are comparing the two

>Original version is better.
Yeah, it's great how it has no atmosphere or psychological complexity.

Because both movies are about an unstoppable force even tho DeNiro was stopped
>Scorsese goes for Hitchcock, pushes it too campy and explicit into Scorsese does Brian De Palma
>half melted face Robert De Niro
>that goddamn score
>COUNSELOR
I love it.

eh... that's a stretch
CF was pretty cleanly about a defendant who felt wronged by his prosecutor and sought revenge. Chigurh is more... ethereal.
One of my fav Scorsese

The only way to compare this movie to No Country would be to say that the Coen brothers mastered what Marty dabbled in.
This movie is firmly planted in the cannon of the 90s, NCFOM is timeless. It will be remember for decades.
