The definition of generic, bruv

There's absolutely no conflict once he leaves the restaurant. It's just watching him drive around, learn about how twitter™ can be used as a marketing tool and succeeding easily.

It's moderately comfy but in no way anything above average in terms of quality.

I honestly wish you were dead and hope you decide to commit suicide soon. I think it'd be for the best.

watched it last night for the first time. Midlife crisis tier. Absolutely atrocious.
>>

when you're a writer/director/star you can have yourself boning whoever you want to

By far the comfiest movie ever made.

For some reason I can't stop watching that scene where he makes ScoJo dinner
>>
its a wonderful movie, one of my favorites of the last few years.

it leads the comfyrating (tm) metric by a lot.
>>
>>71870304
agreed. this is the most horribly paced movie. Once he starts the food truck the movie eventually loses all plot and becomes one long montage of Favvy boy just being successful and inexplicably attracting Sofia Vergara.
>>
>>71870215
honestly one of the lamest films i've ever seen. the funniest bit, for the non-spics in the crowd, is John Leguizamo letting slip Colombian colloquialisms into his portrayal of a Cuban. however, the "despingao" was quite funny and totally Cuban.

only a redditor would consider a movie as straightforward and blunt as "chef" to be pretentious and indie hipster
>>
>>71873559
The movie poster is pretentious and indie hipster shit made in the same style that became popular in 07 with the rise of "el quirky"
>>
It's absolutely kino
>>
>>71870215
No, it's the safest, most vanilla movie of all time, though.
>>
>>71870215
It's glorious to watch while high if you have some quality food ready for munchies.

Also the film is a metaphor for Fav leaving Marvel.
The restaurant (Marvel) wants him to stick to the menu (MCU formula) instead of taking his own liberties, so he leaves to cook (film) his own stuff.

I get that it was a metaphor for his career in the movie business, but it was way too heavy handed.
