Nah man. When I watched philosopher's stone for the first time it was just like I imagined it. Warm, natural and earthly colors. Sure the tones in the later movies were different but I don't like the dark, almost blue filter in some cases they applied to every shot. It was quite nauseating to be honest and the half-blood prince was the worst perpetrator. Just a simple scene like when they were brewing the felix felisis had this unnecessary brown/dark filter that gave me eye cancer.
I don't agree with the need to have weird colors just because the tone is dark. It's just compensating for the lack of "x-factor" the movies have. Jurassic park isn't supposed to be light-hearted, well maybe in the beginning, but just look at the excellent natural colors and I love it for it
