One is a generic action movie made for manchildren who rarely leave their basements. The other is a movie trying to break away with stereotypes and empower females, getting them to have more prominent and independent roles and not be seen as mere love interests for the main character. Ghostbusters 2016 is a much more important movie for the industry that carries a lot more weight on its shoulders.

I was not on the CGI-blaming side though and I'm not liking it to be contraritarian. I liked it because it was somewhat properly portraying the events of the first war, didn't have a pro-immigration/feminist agenda and was really faithful to the game's art.
