White Guilt: The Movie
a white man as king of the jungle is inherently racist and there is no way of defending that. the guy should've been played by idris elba at least. we need more black people on screen; not white people. if anything, it would actually be a novel turn in the right direction. so often are remakes and reboots derided, but what if instead these remakes and reboots featured casts of minorities as the leads? that would introduce a breath of fresh air; some originality. food for thought.
