When I first saw it almost 10 years ago? 8/10.
Now? 7/10. The acting is just a tad cheesy to me now.

To me the cheese is just part of the fun, and if it were more sincere while being just as graphic or more graphic it would have felt more uncomfortable in the way Children of Men feels uncomfortable.
Part of the point of BR is you're supposed to be rooting for the kids to murder one-another, and that itself is supposed to be a commentary on the reader and society and blah blah blah kids killing kids is awesome.
First one is good, the second one is fucking awful

I saw BR when I was 15 and I was terrified of the idea of having to turn on your friends to survive.
As I got older Ive come to understand that its a metaphor about surviving this ruthless competition we call education.
