First season (Blood and Sand) was better than expected, second season (Gods of the Arena) is a prequel to it and was entertaining as well.
Don't remember much of the third season and never got past the first episode of the last one but I remember being surprised about how enjoyable Spartacus was, way better than I thought it would be. Would recommend but not to universally everyone, watch the first two eps (this reminds me I skipped the Pilot, never seen it til this day) and see if you like it.
