Basically there was this huge hyped Nintendo competition at E3. It had banter, legends, you name it.
After the preshow, they announce whoever speedruns a custom made mario level, gets to meet with God himself.
Cosmo and some other guy become finalists after battling through all iconic nintendo games and get to the last game which is a Super mario custom level.
Cosmo kept failing at one jumping part and didn't understand that there was this super easy trick to it, but because he kept failing at that certain spot for 10 mins everyone thought the other contestant was also doomed and it being Nintendos fault for fucking it up, so he gave up basically.
Then the other guy gets to it on his turn, fails 3 times. Stops and thinks and does something else (he was blindfolded before so he didn't see cosmos attempts) and beats the level ridiculously fast afterwards.
Cosmo was absolutely destroyed for fucking up at such an easy part, and what is worse is how as the guy wins, Shigeru Miyamoto (the creator of Super Mario) comes out of backstage, starts patting the winner and asks him to hug him. Then Reggie Fills asks the winner to hug him too and they give him this one personally signed from both of them Nintendo 3DS.
Meanwhile Cosmo is literally 1 feet away and watching this all go down whilst the confetti falls from the ceiling.
