Well, I won't be surprised, but one of the things I liked from the first series is when Jorah fights a Dothraki warrior who's obviously younger and a better fighter, but wins by allowing him to swing his kopesh-thing into his side and allowing his breastplate to take the hit, before trapping it and killing him.
I remember thinking 'fucking finally, a fantasy series that realises WHY knights wore armour'. Cue all the next seasons generally reverting to standard TV series form and showing fully armoured men being cut down by slashes.
Dothraki should use lances or, preferably, horse archers against Westorosi men-at-arms, but yeah, I imagine they'll just be shown winning due some innate superiority + Dany plot armor that will allow them to overcome armour.

Triarri had tower shields and heavy armor to supplement their (short, fighting) spears. They were wealthy citizens and military veterans too, not slaves.
TV show Unsullied's equipment is retarded. Their spears are too long for fighting spears, but too short to make effective pikes. Their shields are too small to form a shieldwall/phalanx with, you need to overlap your shields so the force from any impacts is disappated along the entire wall.
Plus they're supposed to be heavy infantry according to their described tactics. That means they need either heavy armor, not leather shirts, or large shields, which as mentioned, they don't.
Combined with the fact they'd be physically inferior even to women, they'd get slaughtered by pretty much any half-organised fighting force in real life.

Her "lasting wound" may be pregnancy (we'll see) which would ruin any chances she had at getting Winterfell. She's also tainted by Ramsay (and, to a lesser degree, Tyrion) through her marriages to them, making her even less likely to be able to take control over the North.
And no, Sansa does not have plot armor. Ned and Rickon, being men, were liabilities since they were the ones in power (or, in the case of Rickon, the one to unquestionably inherit power). It made sense that both of them be killed from the pov of the people who killed them. Sansa is not really much in the running for power/title but marrying her (and thus, creating an alliance with the Starks and a strong stake in the North) would bestow some power and influence to the man she marries. She's a pretty important political tool who is also passive, pleasing and attractive. It makes sense that she be kept alive by all the men that kept her alive.
Compare that to Arya's plot armor where she was stabbed several times in the guts and thrown into a sewer and managed to heal overnight with no lasting issues and no explanation. That's real plot armor.

Joff not killing Sansa made sense all around though. I think she'll realize she doesn't have any real power. She won't be getting the respect and appreciation she feels she deserves and it'll drive her back to Littlefinger.

William the Conqeuror was already landed before he invaded England, and only inherited because there was literally no one else to take the throne. Bastards always come last when there's no one else. They passed over Sansa as Queen of the North because she wouldn't be a good ruler, not because her claim was weaker.
