Yep, but only because the bourne series fucked everything up by making shaky rapid cutting action scenes the standard. I think this movie's success is a product of its time, rather than its content.

I also couldnt stand it. The action was unnaturally smooth and perfect and left me totally unengaged. So it was great as spectacle, like ballet or bbc porn, but didnt come close to the impact of even something "raw" and unpolished like diehard

Wick, Raid, and Mad Max are the three best of the last 5 or so years. 2016 has been lacking in actionkino though.
