Why is /tv/ so pleb?
Not all of us are pretentious fart sniffers like yourself.

Real cinephiles close their eyes and imagine movies instead of watching capedhit flicks
The "I ii sware im nu not a pleb" starter kit.
>the wire
>mad men
pffffttt im like such an elite.

The ''I'm 16 and I like movies but I don't want to be like everyone else'' starter pack
>BvS was a masterpiece
>based Armond White!
>be South American
>kino
>Blackhat was good
>Disney pays for positive reviews!
>>71767265
>YouTube
What? What does that have to do with being a cinephile.
Also the stuff you listed is pretty incorrect to pseudo-intellectual cinephiles. It would be more stuff like wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, and David Fincher. Stuff like IMDb and EFaP.
We were invaded
/sp/ killed /tv/ starting in late 2011/early 2012
/sp/ started the fire with Bane in late 2013
/sp/ brought their normalfaggotry over here, especially their shit memes, like Doge, etc, and lately "senpai, desu, baka" facebook normie crap
/sp/ brought over Big Brother because "/sp/ MODS WERE MEAN :(" and this was outright admitted years ago. Also Game of Thrones and other plebby crap as well, and muh Blacked, kek, "favorite actress" (read:porn stars) became more frequent as well. Nothing of quality came of those threads; everyone was just indulging themselves with their own opinion, you'd get more sauce/info out of a shitty /gif/ thread.
2014 was the nail in the coffin for 4chan as a whole, due to the Fappening bringing in all types of normies or idiots.
/v/edditor shit started appearing in 2014; MUH SJW! MUH WHAT IS THE ___ OF TV/MOVIES?! MY VIDEOGAME MOVIES! MY MISPOSTING! Also you're seeing more and more capeshit; /v/ /co/ and /mu/ are mostly related by their demographic and prone to be attracted to underage as well.
Moderators for /tv/ have been shit since 2012, with the great tripfag purge of 2013 pretty much banning or making them all leave due to harassment, even on different boards.
Since __2013__, statistics:
THERE HAS BEEN AT LEAST ///5 PAGES/// OF THREADS THAT CONSIST of --LESS THAN 14 REPLIES--.
This board is pure spam, & in those 5 pages consist of 3 pages with <6 replies, mostly outdated/shitty new forced memes or outright bait.
ALSO,
>image.jpg
APPLE USERS WITH THEIR SHITTY iPHONES EVADING BANS, POSTING GHETTO NIGGER SHIT, OR OTHERWISE POSTING DRIBBLE. Also, the fact they own an Apple phone is embrassing. Moot really fucked up by implementing a mobile version of 4chan.
All of this can be proven by simple searches on the 4plebs archives.

I don't know, why don't you ask our meme-stickying mods
>>71767569
>no mention of /pol/ and /v/ babbies
inb4 /pol/ gets triggered
>>71767724
I really believe the /pol/ bleedover into other boards dropped the site's average IQ ten points.
>>71767762
the difference between old 4chan and now is that back then someone posting ''haha niggers'' wasn't considered a serious political statement
>>71767569
>>71767724
Basically both of these are killing /tv/.

/tv/ is /b/ v. 2.0
>>71767569
kek, I came from /g/ you pleb
>>71767477
I dont think you understand how that meme works. You just implied that it's common in the counter culture of 16 year olds to be a paranoid about payola and conscious of unknown black critics. You need to leave your parents' basement.
>>71769896
nah that's part of the package. no one over the age of 18 would take Armond White seriously, and you'll see spics post about disney paying off reviewers.
>>71767569
>/sp/ brought over Big Brother
tbf Big Brother is contained to one thread compared to something like /GoT/ threads that get spammed constantly.
>>71767265
add jodorowsky and enter the void and then you are set
House sucks shit tho.
>>71767265
What problems do you have with this gentleman?
>>71772378
fat alcoholic who wasted his talent

kys
>>71772962
So you admit he has a talent. And how is he wasted it if he was producing masterpieces for 30 years straight.
>>71773950
>producing masterpieces for 30 years straight
that's debatable, and if he weren't such a glutton and drunkard he could've made many more films.
