In the event that Sansa learns that Jon is her half cousin it would be smart to marry him asap since that would make the next heir as much of a Stark as possible. If the event that Jon wanted or was forced to be on the Iron Throne then Sansa would be his Queen.

Well, in their defense it's hard when the show version doesn't do a very good of a job as the books at representing those other characters you're likely talking about in the first place.
I mean, they're all played by good actors but aside from that, just look at D&Ds butchering of Theon, Stannis and Jaime's arcs in the end. Can you really blame normies for being uninterested in Theon when they completely fucked up his Winterfell/Reek arc or to see Stannis as nothing but a villain when they had him burn Shireen and executed by Brienne?
Other surrounding characters that were lucky to even make it in get cheap deaths and not a lot of attention (see: Barristan, Roose, Doran, Osha etc.). The ones that are focused on with compelling arcs like Oberyn and Ned are done specifically because they want to trap the GA to fall in love with them and kill them off, which they do but you've got to move on at some point from dead characters. And let's not forget all the side characters that didn't even make it in, that non-normies only have the luxury of knowing about because they read the books.
