Any good? And what is Foxtel?

Foxtel is an Australian pay television company, operating a duopoly in cable television, a monopoly in direct broadcast satellite television, and IPTV catch-up services. It was formed in 1995 through a joint venture established between News Corporation (now News Corp; through News Limited, now News Corp Australia) (FOX) and Telstra (TEL).

Its cheapest package is also more expensive than Netflix's most expensive package, while offering less content, less flexibility in viewing, and a 3-digit set-up cost

Foxtel is our version of cable in American but it is ridiculously overpriced by Jewpert Murdoch because it has a monopoly on cable and the actual content is fucking garbage.
It's something like $150-200 a month if you want all the half decent channels.
What about Anna Torv's new show on Foxtel? Anyone watch that?
I'm disappointed in Australian drama this year.
Cleverman didn't live up to expectations, Barracuda looks bad, 10/9/7 have nothing good as usual.

What happened to her? Why is she not in anything?

She's doing a show right now...
also a Netflix show next year.
wanna lick and stick my dick
Watched the first two episodes.
I didn't find it terribly interesting, but I plan to watch it until the end. It has some really comfy small town / forest setting which I really like.
Reminded me of Top of the Lake which is a really good show set in New Zealand I think

First two eps were alright. Same Tassie forests setting as that movie The Hunter.

My internet bill is currently higher than my foxtel bill.

Secret City. I really liked it. Only six episodes so it's easy to run through. The best new aussie drama this year that noone mentions in threads ever is probably Hiding.

>My internet bill is currently higher than my foxtel bill.
My internet bill is 60 bucks a month and gives me 500gb of data
Foxtel's minimum price is $26 a month plus a $75 equipment fee
Also you need the fucking internet a lot more than you need Foxtel

>what is Foxtel?
It's what you would pay for if you're too retarded to torrent.
I worked on it... its alright. Getting better. Watch comedy soon. Good shit coming.
Foxtel has more content than redditflix
>The Catering Incident
Is this a sequel to Party Down?
Foxtel/SOHO saved my favourite Australian tv show desu.
