A deconstruction of relationships in modern society. Kino/Kino

just watched it with my girlfriend. I think it's brilliant, what makes you think it's shit?
>>
Very original.
>>
i enjoyed a lot about it, but i felt like it lost direction after he went into the woods
>>
Brilliant first half, second half dragged on a bit

Overall a really good film
>>
it was great!
>>
The plot changes entirely after they escape the hotel. It was just weird.
>>
great movie

it's wes anderson meets terry gilliam
>>
Pretty good, I started to lose some interest after the hotel escape, although there were still some beautiful shots and the plot wasn't too boring, but it went to shit towards the end. I also feel like there was a really bad plot hole I noticed when I first saw it, but now I can't remember it.
>>
Felt like they should have spaced out the black humor more. Having almost all of it front loaded during the hotel section is what made the second half feel like it dragged on forever.
>>
A scathing view on modern relationships showing that there are only losers in the game of love. Single or married misery awaits

MOTY 2015

Thought it was great. Enjoyed the absurdity and truth within it all while generally keeping a light hearted comedic tone. I'd recommend a watch by anyone who enjoys some good kino, plus it gets bonus points for having gorgeous Lea Seydoux in it.
>>
Far superior to le edgy Dogtooth
